It seems like every year people in Orlando complain about not being able to watch the Jaguars. That should change when Blake Bortles becomes the permanent  starter. Of course that does not mean it will if Orange County has more Dolphins fans.

 

 

While UCF has a sizeable following in Orlando,   I'm not sure how that would translate to NFL viewing preferences.   Especially with generations of Dolphins fans living in the Orlando market that seem to have major influence with the decision makers at the CBS station in Orlando.    Blake Bortles should definitely help raise the Jaguars interest level in Orlando.   The question is to what extent?

I don't like the idea of starting Bortles without the other starters....I don't want anything increasing the chances of him getting injured.

Except I don't even live in Orlando.  Im 1.5 hours away from Orlando.  Im right in the middle between Jax and Orlando, but for some reason I'm stuck with Orlando TV affiliates.

 

When we lived in Palm Coast it was the same thing, sucked being stuck with Orlando stations.

Beadles injury is minor.  If the game wasn't a preseason gig, he'd be on the field.  They're sitting all of the starters who are a roster lock.
