Nope, but he did tackle his own running back after getting pushed backwards by a 3rd team D lineman

And still, your (insert assumed relationship) was cut, and the rest remain.  Go figure.

Who knew the starter was facing third teamers?  What play was that exactly?

Pretty sure Atlanta's first team defensive line was in there to start the game with our backup offensive line in there.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Brunell even talked about it when it happened. He was pushed so far backwards  he ran into the RB, and  ATL 1st team D was long gone by then

Bowanko is a 6th round rookie. Brewster apparently "worked out" and got in shape for a position he was being given the keys too. Stop defending him. He sucked and he's gone.

I wasn't aware I needed your permission to defend anyone, my bad

It's ok. Just make sure you check in the future.

Quote:In the game last night, there were times when it almost looked like Brewster was waiving the white flag.  Seriously, he was getting pushed into the backfield by backup defensive linemen on every other play.
I do remember seeing Brewster getting knocked back one good time on a play, but when I did focus on the interior line, it appeared that the guards were struggling with their blocks more so than Brewster.

I think ultimately it was his ball security that cost him the most. I think muffing the snaps in the first game could be overlooked, but continuing to do that in the 4th preseason game was just too much.
