Thats interesting, because I never saw her as a hottie. Never liked the character she was often typecast as too, which often portrayed her as the whiny, can't take care of herself, irresponsible waif.... ever see Firstborn?....Same thing in close encounters or ET forget which she was in

I think what made her hot is that she wasn't trying to always be hot. It seems her roles in film were always classy and weren't overbearing. Smart and sophistication seemed to ooze from her in her films and she always played her parts well. Total babe back in the day..

I didn't get smart and sophistication from her in Firstborn or Close encounters....but I guess there were others I missed. 

 

She just had very little sex appeal to me. 

 

She reminds me of the chick that always ends up with the dirtbags.
