We may have found more starters in this draft than 3 Gene Smith drafts combined.

I like every pick except for Bortles, We could have gotten a solid QB to learn behind Henne for a year or 2 and got Watkins to be greatest receiver since smith and McCardell left. The picks today were great Smith and Johnson can be big contibutors right away and I think everyone will improve he team. Hopefully this a sign of things to come

3yr process is what I been saying all along. We have all the pieces in place. An Owner , GM, & Head coach. Our owner wants to be successful. He cleaned house and hired the right GM (Dave Caldwell) The GM hired the right HC (Gus Bradley). The Vision is shared by all 3. They are a perfect 3 headed monster. All 3 share the same Vision. Everyone who gets drafted and signed as free agents will have that vision as well. We are only 2yrs in and we as fans are seeing this transformation take place. We are one year away from our Goal. We will have a Playoff team for yrs to come. Now the road will be tough & wont be a cake walk. But I am confident that we will get there because we have the right people in place from Top to Bottom. Executives, Coaches, & Players. Feels good to be a Jaguar Fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I touched on this in another thread....

But If Blackmon returns and stays clean....

The amount of talent on this offense is just ridiculous:

A-Robinson

Lee

Blackmon

Sanders

Shorts?

D-Robinson

Gerhart

Johnson

Todman

If they find a pass catching TE, I don't see how this offense could be stopped.

This team is looking good.  We won't know until we see how the rookies are on the field but we surely got better the past few days.

This is what I originally thinking too wjen I was looking primarily at Bridgewater. After looking at video of the two the last couple of days, I no longer have any doubt Dave made the right choice. Dude has pro bowl potential. Our offense is going to be unstoppable by 2015.

So I'm a little curious about what their plan is with the Aaron Colvin pick. I love it and think he could definitely play CB, but part of me wouldn't mind if they gave him a legit look at FS next season. I'm not sold on Guy or Evans as our starting FS. I'm all for letting them straight up prove me wrong and win the job this season while Colvin heals up. But there's a part of me that thinks maybe he (Colvin) could be that rangy single high FS we need for this scheme.

Think about the switch from last year to this year.

Last year, we relied fairly heavily on Sanders to be a p!aymaker in the passing game.

This year, barring injury, even without Blackmon, Sanders will be an afterthought in the passing game.
