The guy has a prototypical frame for a QB, and played out of the pocket as opposed to a spread offense.  Biggest knock is his arm is not elite, but good enough and that he didn't play in a big time conference.  I am ok with this as I would have been with Matthews, or Mack.  Not a fan of Watkins, too many character issues.

Let it play out for crissakes. Don't like the pick? If you think the ship is sinking, jump ship like any rat would do.

He's going to sit for a year and then we will see what shakes out. Third overall was a tough place to be in.

Naw....you dont hate it more than me. i feel like a piece of me died with this awful pick. I dont know what to think right now. I think this pick has messed up our whole draft. Honestly. I see no rhythm from here.

If you think I offended you, don't worry, I meant to. #facts

I loooove the pick, great job Jags, thanks God we didn't draft Manziel, Im really happy, Bortles was the guy i wanted, he was the best QB in this draft and was the BAP when at #3.

Fire Caldwell??? shut up.

for some reason I felt you'd hate this pick so I'm pleasently surprised.. Our fan base is really sad and pathetic.. Well not all but a lot.

The analysts who called us brilliant for drafting Gabbert are questioning why we took Blake.

That by itself gives me confidence in this pick.

Is this a guess, wishful thinking, or is there honestly some hard evidence behind this claim?

Cleveland was one of the four teams working with Bortles at the combine, and Gus said Bortles would have been picked at three regardless of the team...

Still fresh info tho. Seems like Cleveland really liked Bortles.

You know the answer to that.  There is never hard evidence behind any of the claims.

Every single trade-up, for instance, is on an educated guess.  There's never proof.

Having a pulse, and a functional brain?  It's why they were happy to trade out, their guy was gone.

Because the Browns or Raiders could have taken him.
