I know they aren't carbon copies of each other, but if Gus has say in the next QB, I could easily see Manziel being the Jags pick. I think Gus sees some Russell Wilson in Johnny football.

Watkins is very talented. You know that in the NFL that you need to play smart a lot of times to stay healthy, especially at WR. If Watkins thinks he'll be able to constantly try plays like that 2nd post you showed, then good luck. With the frame I see, I think he'll be injured quickly.

I'd imagine Gus hired a like-minded OC. (offensive vision wise). Gus I am sure is partial to a lot of things' Seattle and what he learned there. 

 

But I also remember hearing Fisch speak favorably about QB with mobility as well, in the past...

And Julio is injury prone so who cares.

 

Sammy has never had injury concerns so I think he will be fine. At this point, it's going to come down to Sammy or Mack. Clowney will be gone within the first 2 picks so we will either A) have to choose between Mack and Watkins or B) Have just one of them sitting there if Clowney goes #1 and Mack/Watkins goes #2.

 

The longer this draft is delayed, the more clear is seems to get.
