If Clowney and Bridgewater Are Both There at #3........
|
Jacksonville higher than most on Teddy Bridgewater, A.J. McCarron, and Jimmy Garoppolo. McCarron now off their board. Bridgewater still the only QB with a first round grade on their board. Requested Garoppolo to the Senior Bowl over Savage.
Minnesota likes the mobile QBs. Big into Hundley and Mariota before they went back. Already set up a meeting with Tajh Boyd in NYC. Might be in play for Manziel if Cleveland doesn't take him? Brett Smith has connections to both Oakland and Tampa Bay's QB coaches. Recruiting coordinator from Wyoming is now at Tampa Bay (also recruited David Fales), and Oakland's QB coach originally had Smith committed to San Jose State. Jeff Tedford was at Oregon when Brett Smith's father, Kevin, was playing football for the Ducks. BOB might actually like Bortles, but he also touted Mallett to those around him at Penn State. Mettenberger is an interesting prospect. It's not out yet, but Cosell really likes him. San Diego like Wenning, who is kind of like Rivers himself. Multiple teams DQing Fales off the board for multiple reasons. Hand size, height, arm, mobility, and character. Character not bad, but he's a "thinker" in the way he apparently treats others. Has some of the "I'm better than you" attributes. Offensive line apparently hated him. An agent who recruits SJSU told me he wouldn't touch him in October for several reasons, including what type of a guy he was. Some think that Carr has a character red because he spends too much time with his family and not in the film room. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Wow, 3 post back to back to back obsessing over a decent QB. kinda creepy Its clearly not his QB play you are obsessed over.
Quote:Apparently Bridgewater is the ONLY qb with a first round draft grade on Dave/Gus's draftboard... Where did you get this info

Quote:Bradley didn't like that McCarron didn't compete in the Senior Bowl Doesn't have the Gus Juice Quote:Bradley didn't like that McCarron didn't compete in the Senior BowlTo me skipping the Senior Bowl isn't a big deal. Sorta like the Pro Bowl; it just isn't a serious football game.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.
Quote:To me skipping the Senior Bowl isn't a big deal. Sorta like the Pro Bowl; it just isn't a serious football game. The thing is, unless you are bonified top pick as a senior, it behooves you to attend the Senior Bowl For a guy like Bradley, its about competition and the desire to prove yourself. McCarron, quite frankly came up short We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:The thing is, unless you are bonified top pick as a senior, it behooves you to attend the Senior Bowl Yeah, Bradley is looking for someone with a "high competitor quotient". Not participating in that game......I believe would be a red flag in Gus's mind. Not enough of da juice in there. (pounding on the heart)

(pounding on the heart)Here here, that juice is what Bradley is looking for in each player. He played an integral part in Seattle's SB run (he put the engine in place)
Quote:You don't just take a franchise QB if Clowney is the 2nd coming of Reggie White. It better be a Hall of Fame QB.Not true in the slightest. How games can Reggie White say he won for his team? How many games can a franchise qb, say Matt Ryan, claim he won? You can't win without a QB.

Quote:I can tell you have no clue who Reggie White is. Matt Ryan did great this year by the way.Ill be the first to say, I would take Reggie White at the Eagles over Matt Ryan now
Quote:I can tell you have no clue who Reggie White is. Matt Ryan did great this year by the way.I obviously do, you just don't seem to understand the point. Reggie White had an effect on games yes, but really never a big enough to physically win one on his own. A franchise qb whos good but not elite wins alot more. If you don't understand that, I can't help you. QB >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DE any day of the week.
Quote:Your so obsessed with wanting to see Bridgewater's stock drop. Yeah, i agree with him because you are starting to becoming the poor mans version of TMD. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote:What?he would probably take Matt Ryan over Jerry Rice and Barry Sanders too. qb>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rice or Barry |
