I don't think that it's Adam Sandler doesn't make good movies anymore so much as -- the movies of these big name comedy actors are all the same.  The first few times it's funny.  Then it stops being funny, because they stretch the concept too far.  

 

Not a fan of Rap music either.  Though I do like "Power".  I blame Saint's Row.

 

I think that Physical Discipline should be a last resort.  It's important for kids to understand why what they did wrong was wrong, rather than just to understand it's wrong.  I've never spanked my kids.  I've never needed to. 

 

Also not a fan of Breaking Bad. (Or a lot of cable shows)

Who else would be, there hasn't been another rapper to have as much consistency at a high level as he has for as long as he has.  The only other rapper that would even come to mind is Nas, but Nas has way too many throwaway albums to match up (Nastradamus, that throwaway QB album, and pretty much anything after god son).  The rest of the typical line up Em, Big, and Pac don't fit because, Em clearly fell off after TES, Big has 2 albums, and Pac's albums are plagued with his weed carriers who had no right to take up space.  

 

Some outliers like Scarface, Common, Rakim, Cube, Snoop, Ghost are just a level under GOAT imo.  Hovito is GOAT just because nobody else fits the bill.  imo at least.  

 

That's why I think Jay gets that title, because there is noone in today's rap game to have been consistent with their sucess like he has for the last 19 years.

 

I agree about Nastrdaumus, the only track I could get into was the one he did with Havoc because im a huge Mobb Deep fan.

Not a fan. In fact I think they are corny and unenjoyable. I just don't get it. I consider myself somewhat of a movie snob and many other film buffs will swear that Kevin Smith movies are great, and I just don't get it. Wish I did, but I don't.

Most overrated rapper of all time. He's okay, but all the talk about him being one of the greatest of all time is laughable. He's Eddie George. Nice little career, deserves mentioning if the subject of running the ball (or rapping) comes up, but is outclassed by many. Mediocre skills, okay flow, okay production- not great at anything. His image has surpassed his reality. People says he's a GOAT because people have heard he's a GOAT, and the myth has perpetuated itself.

I agree with all of yours - but I suppose we are in the minority.  

 

Other unpopular opinions... hmmmmm.....  let's see.....

 

I love Amtrak.  I love traveling by train.   If I don't have to be in a hurry and they have a route to my destination I'll take a train anytime. It's usually cheap to upgrade to "business class" or something comparable and you can roam comfortably to the dining and bar car and there's always a quiet section to avoid kiddos and cell phone talkers and unwanted conversationalists.  I have to fly about 20 times a year and on the rare occasion I can go by train it's a luxury. 

 

I wish the US had a better rail system.  I'd utilize it more often. 

 

Truffles.  Don't like  'em.    I'm quite the "foodie" and living in NYC and traveling abroad has afforded me the opportunity to try a wide variety of cuisine and gain an appreciation of fine cuisine.  I've even taken to the kitchen quite aggressively over the past 7 years or so - learning the craft a bit. 

Still....  I don't get the fuss over this flavor.  When I'm reading a menu and see something I like only to read on and see the words "truffled" or "in truffle oil" etc - I'm disappointed.  Why people will pay hundreds to have them shaved over a risotto I'll never understand.
