Yes we do and this one was posted before that one so the mods should just merge them. But thanks for pointing it out

Why are the Jaguars "likely to face" Jeff Tuel? Or Jason Campbell? Or not Andrew Luck? How far into your read end do you have to reach to pull this stuff out?

Just throwing it out there that i think we have more winnable games than them

The Dolphins lost on their home field to Thad Lewis and the Bills. Why wouldn't that be a winnable game for the Bucs?

Quote:Stop worrying about the #1 pick in the draft people. It aint happening. The Bucs have quit on Schiano and they will lose to make sure he's gone. MAYBE after he is fired in the later part of the season they will pick up 1 or 2 wins but I doubt the Jags are so bad they lose against this much easier schedule coming up after the BYE week.

As such, Henne takes all the sacks and throws wildly. Gabbert takes all the sacks and throws short crap all over the field. I'd rather see Henne at this point just stack yards and make our receivers look good.

You don't know it won't happen. No team ever loses to get rid of the head coach. They lose every week because they suck. That organization is so screwed up I bet he can keep his job until the regualar season is over.

About our quarterbacks: Henne is a more accurate passer, but holds the ball longer before throwing it.

Jason Campbell was named Browns starter today. Luck and the rest of the Colts starters will likely be resting week 17 as the division will be locked up by then.

Any more clown questions by you?

Quote:I miss the good ol days when you used to back Gabbert no matter what. Thanks for coming around and realizing that both QB's suck. Welcome Home.

I never backed Gabbert no matter what, I just said that given everything we knew leading into this season the only sensible thing to do was start him. It's been posters such as yourself that had been convinced already that Henne had to start in spite of also being terrible that were off.

Like I said after the Rams game, I don't care if I never see Gabbert play again, but I certainly won't be relieved to see captain checkdown Chad in the game scoring between 6 and 12 points.

Watching him in the Rams game was sickening. He might turn it around one day like Alex Smith did, but right now it looks like he reached his plateau, and that plateau looks like its at career 3rd stringer just like Henne.

Quote:I'm not saying anything about going on a winning streak, but even 2 or 3 wins in those 8 could mean the difference between getting even a top 2 pick and not, let alone Bridgewater.

You obviously are not comprehending when reading again over the course of this post. Luck will likely be sitting week 17 due to the Colts having the division wrapped up.

If you know anything about the playoffs, you know teams don't rest their starters until they clinch the #1 seed in the conference. The Colts are not going to do that this year.

Ever? Is this your first year of watching football?

Or they're locked into their seed. Which could easily happen.

I don't see the Colts hanging record-wise with the Broncos all year. By the time week 17 comes up, there will be more than a 1 game difference between those 2 teams, hence there won't be any battle for the #1 seed at that point. It will have been long decided by then.

Not that we need to delve into this anymore but its clear now that Henne is better than Gabbert. They just threw Gabbert out there the first couple games to see if he had made progress... he didn't (obviously we all knew that).. now that Gabbert is healthy, they are going with the better QB. Simple elementary by dear Watson.

If Gabbert gets released, do you think he'll still get a workout from another team? Just for kicks, it'll be interesting to see how his career unfolds.

I mean, somebody like David Carr still gets calls every now and then.

I don't see a difference. Only thing is Henne isn't worried about earning a starting job because he wasn't competing for one. It was just a question of whether Gabbert would implode or if he'd get better. He imploded and Henne is the benefactor.

We're talking about the difference between two guys who have thrown 7 and 5 INTs this season each and both have been repeatedly blown out.

Henne's signature game is an effort against the 29th ranked that ended up with 12 points from the offense.

Calling him better is wrong, it implies there's any level of quality for either of them.

They're both equally miserable, they just manifest it in different ways.

Henne shows it by throwin repeated checkdowns and into guys arms and then INTs when the pressue starts to get higher.

Gabbert shows it by being inconsistent and unable to stay in the pocket after the first time he gets hit or throws an INT.

I don't know about that...It's too bad that the forum is changed so I can't go back and find all the posts you made about Gabbert being "clutch, play better when the game is on the line, and it was because of him that the Jags made the comeback against the colts". After two seasons as the starter, the writing was on the wall, it was just that you and someone like Pete Prisco chose not to look at it. I mean really, whenever there was a discussion on Gabbert vs Henne, you adamantly defended Gabbert on why you believe he is better than Henne, even though you now claim you "never backed Gabbert no matter what".

But it's cool though. It's all over now. The Gabbert/Henne experience will be officially over after this season.

The Broncos aren't even in first place right now.

That's just your personal opinion. You can spin it however you want. We all watched the same Jags game. Henne played like he's one of the worst starting QB in the league; Gabbert played like he didn't belong in the NFL.

#Jaguars HC Gus Bradley said Henne will start with Gabbert as the backup. Says team will start Henne and "see where it takes us."

Gabbert era might officially be done.

Hilarious .... in other words, we're starting the QB that is less worse than the other QB

At seasons end, Its a safe bet to anyone paying attention that Denver will have the #1 seed,

The Chiefs can't hang with the Broncos with Alex Smith playing QB. They'll be swept by Denver.

For someone who acts like he's so football smart, you've laid a lot of eggs in posts today.

The Broncos are in second place. Sorry you can't accept that.

It is what it is.

I would imagine they're confident he'll take them right to the top pick in the draft in May.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
