Must draft a running back

I think he and Ivory would be a good 1-2 punch and he provides that home run ability our offense lacks.

When he's in open space he's dangerous, I'm saying he'll struggle in the NFL, cause he's not going to get that much room. He runs too high and isn't big enough to break tackles at the next level. Cook can do it all, and Foreman has the power. He just doesn't seem like a three down back imo.

Long as don't cry like him.  Sounds good.

Then we can draft his brother in 4 years, after he leads Michigan to back-to-back National titles, to be our QB. LOL

Quote:That still does not answer my question is he fast? None of those teams seamed fast to me.

He can run fast in a straight line, he's not fast with cuts and it takes a few seconds to turn on the burners. He's just like Yeldon, but smaller. Yeldon takes forever to build up his speed.

Yeldon spends way too much time running horizontally… Which is why he NEVER gets up to full speed.

So a fullback cool we need one.  Like Toby.

This offense has 3 legitimate home rune hitters in A-Rob, Lee, and Hurns, albeit they all do it in different ways. This offense instantly becomes "explosive" with competent QB play

This as well, but McCaffrey will have to do the same thing because he's not a power back, he'll have to make defenders miss. And if you're going to draft a RB to do that, you should just get Cook. Or build the line and make sure a RB like McCaffrey will have room to run.

Not to mention he is an elite returner and reciever for a RB

Please don't put hurns in there.  One td in forever now.  Is not a weapon.  I absolutely love hurns.  Except lately.  His heart doesn't seam into it no more.

Hate to break it to you, but if you can't run the ball the guys on the outside will not be explosive… We got a glimpse of explosiveness today, because we could run the ball with some effectiveness, but once Ivory went down our running game tanked.

give me McCaffery and Allen or Garrett over Cook and another player in the late 20s or early 2nd

Quote:Really?

Dalvin Cook 6' 214 lbs.

1686 current rushing yards, 6 y.p.c., a long of 75 yards and 18 TDS

D'onta Foreman 6'1' 249 lbs.

2028 current rushing yards, 6.3 y.p.c., a long of 74 yards and 16 TDS

Cook plays on a much better team as well. Obviously, you haven't seen Foreman because he is far and away the best RB prospect in the NCAA. The only reason Cook gets the headlines is because he's on a winning team.

Does he have a jump cut?

He is a good RB but not good enough to draft in the top 5

Find backs anywhere. Don't waste valuable assets finding one.

With Cook, Fournette, McCaffery, and Foreman I think they all have a chance to be elite. Hopefully we can come away with 1 of the 4 without picking 1 in the top of the 1st. If 1 falls to the 2nd or either trading back into the bottom of the 1st
