Day and Strong waived

#61

I'd like to see an updated depth chart now. I guess Cole and Lee are listed as starters? It would be interesting to see if Dede gets the start.

My guess is that it will be Lee and Westbrook on the outside and Cole in the slot.  Although it might be Cole and Westbrook on the outside with Lee in the slot.

Wow

Who cares where they line up. It's like guessing if Fred Taylor will be in the I-formation or off set by the qb

So glad to see Westbrook activated.hope he goes for 250

That is pretty weird seeing Day released. Must be stuff we know nothing about. Starting caliber player.
No pain, no gain.

I’m surprised Day and not Anjou.

I share your sentiments on this subject. Having read through this entire thread, I have somehow missed that Day was a whole lot better player than he showed. Evidently he's a starting caliber player that somehow hasn't started and didn't even make the active roster the last two weeks, yet the Jags are making a huge mistake by cutting him to fill other areas of critical need.

Your Fournette GIF signature in this thread like 10 times is the most annoying thing ever.

Half of them cried about Roy Miller being released, the other half said it was sad but it time but he was such a class act. Tells you how rational and great judge of character the people on this thread are.

Not surprised at all by Pinkard over Strong. He's healthy, knows the system and has looked good in two years of preseason games. I speculated after Hurns was hurt that Pinkard may be brought up and I think it's a good move.

Waiving Sheldon Day seems odd. I understand that the Dareus trade made it a numbers game at DT, but I thought they'd find a way to keep Day around.

I don't like the Day release to be honest, but naturally I defer to Coughlin and company on this one.

Day will help someone, if not us.
