We’re you under a rock today and Week 2?

No, I wasn't under a rock. The 1st game between these teams took place in week 2 and neither team is remotely the same. As far as today's game, you can say what you want, but the Titans needed this game and even though the Jaguars played all their healthy starters, they did not need to win. Add in the fact that the Jags would have been at home in the playoff game and Cam Robinson is likely to return. That is why I think it would have been a blowout. Unfortunately we will not get to see this happen, because Jag fans would have taken greater pleasure in beating the Titans than the Bills. I will still enjoy seeing the Chiefs destroy the Titans next weekend.

You make some fair points but unfortunately for whatever reason the tacks team this year has our number and I’m glad we don’t see them next week. There would be too many variables to declare it a safe blowout

We don't have the league's best defense unless you just narrow it down to like 2 categories. And with the way the offense has looked the Bills could win the game with 10 points if they don't turn the ball over.
No pain, no gain.

“unless”?

Yeah let’s just chuck stats. Even with the other categories the defense this year is definitely top 10 in the league, perhaps in the top 5. We just need the offense to have a couple good drives. With Cam back and Lee back who knows.

I was for sure thinking we were getting Tennessee next week after losing today. I was freaking out. Then I saw the Bills, my prayers have been answered!

The Bills are ranked dead last in passing offense. We are number one.

Bills and then Steelers. Thats exactly what we would want.

We have a great shot at progressing far.

Match up wise this is as good as it can get for us. If we fail to progress then someone isn't doing their job.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

If we beat the Bills the Steelers game is on the next Sunday @1:05 as well. Which is good because it'd probably be better to play them during the day.

Lovely. Add in no McCoy

While the Bills and no McCoy should be a basic gimme game, this team has been playing like dog [BLEEP] the past couple of weeks so it's definitely not out of the realm of possibilities to still lose.

Its definitely possible to lose. I mean we held the Titans to 15 and still lost today. If ST plays like they did today and have in some other games (Rams etc) we will be in trouble. I am more worried about that then Bortles.

The one matchup that concerns me is our passing offense against their secondary.

Even though they have rebuilt their secondary within one offseason, their results have been pretty good. Tredavious White will pose problems against whomever he covers.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

They give up a decent amount of passing yards but they don't give up many TDs and they do get a fair amount of INTs. Their run defense looks pretty lousy though.  I hope we don't look at all this and decide to get conservative again with play calling and run run run. Keep their defense off balance and that should create a lot of room for fournette while also getting Blake in rhythm.

Lowest seed is the higher number. We'd play the steelers.

I think everyone is getting way ahead of themselves with their joy at playing the Bills.

They're not great, but neither are the titans. If they can commit to stopping the Jaguars rushing game like most of the teams we play have, they have a shot at winning if the Jaguars passing game looks as inept as it did against a mediocre at best titans secondary.

2 bad games on the road, a home game vs a less than stellar Bills team is just what we need to get back in rythem and find some confidence before we head to Pittsburgh.
