the Titans are better than people thought they would be. this will be difficult... as it usually is no matter who we play

Yeah it pains me to see it happen too.  I hate that team with the fire of a thousand suns.

Quote:When we looked at the second quarter of the season, it was reasonable to expect a 3-1 record, though most fans want to see a 4-0 record.  I personally was afraid that the Raiders game would be a L though I didn't expect it to be so ugly.

I think that because of the ugly loss, the Jaguars go out on Thursday night and light it up.  I have a feeling that the offense is going to finally move the ball down the field and finish drives with points one way or another.  I also think that the defense finally gets some turnovers and holds the Titan's running game in check.

I don't expect a blowout win by any means, but I think the team improves the second quarter record to 2-1 with a "mini bye" before they face the Chiefs.

The whining and crying fans need to get a hold of themselves.  The season isn't even half over yet, and when you look at how the league is shaking out right now, we haven't lost to any "bad" teams.

I won't predict a final score, but I do think that the Jaguars pull off the win.

How do you define "bad teams?"

I'd say Baltimore, sitting at 3-4, is arguably bad.

Though we won the Chicago game, they controlled most of the game against the Jaguars.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

I think maybe what your gut is telling you is that you may have eaten something that's just not sitting right.

Most people use a teams past reputation to determine if they are "bad", and not their current success. We arguably haven't even played a good team yet.

I'd say the Packers, Raiders, and Chargers are good teams. They're not great teams but they are good teams.

Ravens, Bears, and Colts are bad teams. Ravens are so much worse than people think too.

Hide behind their records all u like, but Baltimore and Indy are not good. At all. We also tried our hardest to give away games in London and Chicago.

Lol "we haven't lost to any bad teams".

You don't have to lose to bad teams to tell a team is in over its head. What team, realistically, can you say the Jaguars have a high chance of beating?

0. This team is coached terribly. You don't have to give up on your team to be realistic.

Stop trying to be the enlightened fan that "doesn't give up on their team". Being ok with the worst coach (seriously, look it up) in history is more of a surrendering act than wanting to find another coach... to ya know... win.

There's a difference between "not giving up" and being a wimp.If you seriously watch Jaguar football and you are even thinking about winning the division and getting in the playoffs; you need to watch a different sport.

I can somewhat agree with this.  So we lost to one "bad" team (The Ravens).

It doesnt matter who we face, with poor coaching and poor QB play the other team will always have a chance against us.

The Bears, Ravens, and Colts are not good teams and we struggled with each of them.

Lol Ok, you're right, we're fine, we've only lost to one bad team! how didn't anyone notice this before?

This is the type of game we faced last year and eeked out 5 wins.  John Fox is not an aggressive coach.  He kept screwing around to protect his Backup QB and they couldn't close it out.

Our 2 wins felt like we were going to get blown out.  I have not seen us "take control" of a game yet.  Honestly I think our game plan is crap on both sides of the ball.  This team has no identity.  Team Butterfingers.

Butterfingers are a very underrated topping for ice cream.

It's not over.  The key is the division games.  I think they just need a spark and to loosen up a little.  Right now nobody's having fun.

What is your take in light of Owner Shad Khan's speech to the team?

It's one thing if the fans are not happy.

If the owner is dismayed at the performance and results...to me that takes things to another level.

As bad as the division is, it's not happening. Not with Blake playing poorly and this coaching staff.

With that said, until the math says we don't have a chance, anything is possible I suppose...

The Chargers are 2-4 not including the Jags game.

So we lost to one bad team and got embarrassed by two of the good ones.

Quote:What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

The season is over on New Year's Day sometime after 7:00 p.m. That is nobody's decision except the only one that matters, the NFL's. Saying anything to the contrary is a total lie.
