Ok good Big Ben is a hall of famer......Bortles has 90 TDs by age 25......looks like Bortles is closer to the Hall of Fame than being cut. Lol at Duval county IQ fans.
You’re right Big Ben is a HOFer and Bortles will be an insurance salesman in about 3-5 years.

You're out of your mind......4 straight years of INT % improvement. You wouldn't know talent if it hit you in the forehead.

Most HOF QBs aren't even good until age 27.....

After Age 25 season......TD PASSES....

Marino -142
Peyton- 111
Bortles - 90
Big Ben- 84
Farve- 70
Brees- 54
Eli- 54
Elway- 47
Brady- 46
Rodgers- 29

Luckily Caldwell and Coughlin are more intelligent than 3/4's this board. Look at the HOF's on this board...most weren't even good until age 27. Bortles has FOUR STRAIGHT improved years in INT % and has 90 TDs at age 25.

Turn off the fake news media. It's rotting your brain. The Jags are not getting a better QB than Blake Bortles. Bortles will be a regular in the AFC Championship game.

It’s hard to deny Bortles has improved a lot from last season. Seeing him work through progressions like he’s been doing was really telling that he’s made gigantic strides. Add that to the INT% improvement and durability and you’re hard pressed to cut him in the offseason imo

Mark Brunnell says blake should stay and for a long time. We better build the best defense ever and the best road grader oline ever and draft saquon Barkley for a 2 headed monster rushing attack.

Do you honestly think he hasn’t made nice improvements this year? Why is this year his ceiling? Heck Alex Smith had his best ever year this year and he’s a lot older than Blake

Amen. The people in this board want to replace a QB that almost got us to the Super Bowl with a untested QB that may have been good in College and will probably throw more interceptions than touchdowns. Or, better yet, even though we don't have a lot of cap money, let's replace him with someone who is not more talented than him. Either option and we'll be back to 3-4 wins a year. See if any of the so called great QBs that are in free agency could have done better with a bunch of wide receivers who were in their first year, inconsistent at best play calling, and injury-prone #27 (what a surprise he has injury problems, it plagued him in college - wow and now he has injury problems again). Don't think many could have done it, not alone went to the AFC Championship Game and outplayed a future hall of famer by lights out in the first half.

I hope they wait until next season to make that decision. I'm just not sure which blake is blake.

Let him play through the option. Improve the receiving core, replace Cann, find some additional defensive talent, a possible QB upgrade and let er ride for another year.

I agree he made some nice improvements this year, and he did it without ARob and a very inexperienced receiving corps.

I'm not sure there are any answers in free agency or trade. Brees will stay in NO and Cousins, while I think is very good, will cripple the cap with what he demands. Alex Smith peaks my curiosity, though.

This upcoming year is the perfect year to [BLEEP] Blake.

He will have the best offensive weapons he's ever had (assuming ARob is back) and he'll have to prove it with what may be the most difficult schedule in the NFL next year. Not too diminish what he did this year, but he padded his numbers against some really, really bad teams. Can't do that next year.

He had a chance to win the game and he didn’t. Down by 4 with 3 TOs and 4 minutes and change on the clock and he couldn’t will his team to a win. Great players make big plays in big games. Bottom line is he came up short. History of the NFL is littered with players who came up short in big moments. Bortles won’t be the last.

Quick. Get a clue.

The defense took the Jags to the title

After last week's game you can't believe that. Bortles and 904nette saved their season in Pittsburgh.

Alex Smith. Doesnt turn the ball over, is mobile, would not require a long term contract, and KC is gonna be willing to get whatever they can for him because everyone knows the rookie is starting next year

Sure....you're a nobody. Last year you were saying Bortles would never make the playoffs and his ceiling is a losing NFL QB.

He is 25 years old genius.

He's gonna be a top 10 NFL QB in his career and outplayed Brady 3/4's the game.

He certainly made big plays and won the game in Pittsburgh. I don’t know how anyone could dispute that. That was big time and high stakes

Pew. Alex Smith is (2-5) in the playoffs. Bortles is (2-1) and he's 9 years younger.

Alex Smith had an elite defense (top 5 scoring defense) SIX years in a row and NEVER made the AFC Championship in his career.

Typical Duval IQ in play here.

He’s still gonna cost probably a 2nd at minimum, possibly a 2 + 3 or 4
