Bipolar blake is what he is.  A hot and cold QB.   Kessler had a good year in 2016 with the browns until they dumped him for other Qbs. He had a really good preseason but never really went against first team defense.  This team need stability.  Could he win this team?

Bortles would have to play like he did yesterday for at least another month before they consider benching him. It's not going to happen. People are WAY overreacting to this [BLEEP] whooping. We got beat by a divisional rival who has always had our number two weeks ago. And we got beat by a damn good football team that was clearly ready to go at home and we simply weren't up for it on offense yesterday. 

Hackett and Marrone need to establish or figure out the offensive identity. I think we can all agree on that. The offense has been up and down all year. Flat, great, flat, great, etc. But this is going to happen from time to time. It happens to a lot of decent or play-off bound teams. We can't win them all. 

It was an ugly loss. But it happens. As long as they win enough this year we'll always have a chance. The Eagles were on the ropes late last year and people were freaking out when Wentz popped his ACL. Nobody wanted to give Foles a chance. We all know the rest of that story...

Ultimately this team is going to keep moving with Bortles. It's that simple. The injuries are killing us this year. We miss Cam Robinson. Linder is playing with back issues and spasms. Cann just came back. Parnell is long in the tooth as well. No Fournette. Now no Grant. 

Just have faith man. Trust the process. Marrone and Hackett will figure it out. This team doesn't lose in back to back weeks.

I think the reason why people are so mad and emotional is because these are games we should win and we know we can. In the past, we had no chance. But our standards have risen and they were not met yesterday on any level. Although I don't blame Bortles for the loss, he definitely played a roll. I think more so Hackett and wash did though.

It's highly unrealistic. We lost six games last year. And three or four of those losses were just as ugly as yesterday's loss. It's not the end of the world. You can flip the coin over as well. Why should we have won yesterday's game? That was against the premier offense in the NFL yesterday. In Arrowhead. An extremely difficult place to win games in. 

The team failed on offense. It's that simple. It starts with preparation and game planning. This offense has been up and down all year (I sound like a broken record by now with this but I'll keep beating that horse to death if I must). You can afford to be flat against the Giants and the tacks. They don't have average 38.0 points per game. They don't have a QB leading the NFL with 14 TD passes, etc. 

That was hopefully the first and last [BLEEP] beatin' this team suffers on the year. But even G.O.A.T's have days like they had yesterday. Look at how the NFL has been this year. Buffalo managed to beat the tacks yesterday and they flattened the Vikings. Brady was embarrassed by our team and Detroit as well. It doesn't make or break your season. That light is still there at the end of the tunnel.

Cody Kessler isn't going to save this team. Or this season. If you think he is, I've got some ocean front property in Kansas you might be interested in.

The backup QB is the most popular player on the team. Within a week or two of Kessler starting everyone would be like "BRING BACK BLAKE! AT LEAST HE GETS HOT ONCE IN A WHILE!"

Do we need an upgrade from Bortles? Most certainly. Is one coming? Not this year.

Kessler is not better than Blake.

Probably not but I'll use the repetitive example of 6th round pick Tom Brady not even being close to being as good as Drew Bledsoe.   Heck, the Bledsoe-Brady gap perception was much greater than the Bortles-Kessler gap perception.

...again, the Brady thing was an exception to the rule but after yesterday, I'd almost be willing to start Jeff Driskel - at least we know that the moving expenses from Oviedo FL would be minimal.

Joe staley, I think Lynch would be willing to move him. Their season is shot.

Why? Staley is 34 years old and currently sidelined with an injury himself.

Staleys injury is not serious and he would be back next week. This team has championship apparitions this year, would you rather have staley or josh wells/Walker at left tackle. Cam is the future at left tackle anyway, so his age is not an issue.kts about right now, not 3 years down the line.

The receiver was moving left to right and he tried to throw it out in front of him - but he didn't check his throwing lane. Kept his eyes on the receiver.  The lane was blocked by black helmets :/

Until I see the all22 I can't be certain who he's trying to hit, but both Yeldon and Moncrief were moving left to right (towards where he was aiming) and Cole was moving right to left to that area. Looked like he was looking at Moncrief who was being held in the endzone by Nelson. (making him a poor choice to target)

This board, man.

Frankly, this entire team has been playing sloppy all season.  I'm not sure why.  Little mistakes, penalties, mental errors around.  Ramsey seems like he's loafing, or injured, or marginally worse than we thought.  Our receivers can't catch when it hits them in the hands, and our QB misses them when they can.  Our running backs are all hurt, and our o-line is a patchwork mess now.

Blake played horribly, yeah.  But we have a slew of issues that this coaching staff needs to tighten up or we aren't making the playoffs.

And after all that, they're 3-2. It's pretty remarkable.

They haven't even played close to their best football (I still think the defense is playing exceptional) and yet they're 3-2 and tied with the Titans for the division lead. Win @Dallas, home to the Texans and the Eagles in London? You're 6-2. Those are all winnable games and games the Jags will most likely be favored in all of them. If there is anything that the Jags have done under Marrone, it's that they almost always bounce back. The defense will be angry next week. The offense will want to prove they're better than what they showed. This team is resilient and I expect a beat down in Dallas.

Yeah, that's why I have a lot of hope.  This team has played pretty poorly overall and is still 3-2.

Hoping for a blowout in Dallas, because I'll be there!

The batted passes with him at the line kill me though. Along with these types of passes. He's 6'5 but his release is just too damn low. I wish they would roll him out of the pocket more often to avoid it from happening from time to time.

The team is 3-2, but we're at 3 bad Blake games vs 2 good Blake games. It's most likely going to take 4 good Blake games in a row to win a super bowl. That's unlikely.

I don't think considering the option that will probably be more consistent (albeit with lower peaks) might be the better option for our team the way it is constructed.

Well after 5 games last year, Blake was at 4 bad games and 1 good game. On the entire season last year he really only had 6 good games. The rest were either bad or extremely average. The difference so far have been the turnovers on offense and the lack of turnovers created on D. I think the D is playing fantastic this season considering they're not giving up any yards and holding teams to below 15 points for the most part. However, they aren't making big splashy plays. No 10 sacks games and no 5 interception games. That means Blake has to play better and right now he hasn't but the team is still 3-2. This team can easily get hot and string together 3-4 wins in a row.
