That is not what I am trying to say. Obviously nobody wants to know.

Don't you have to beat a playoff team to prove you are capable of beating a playoff team?

After last week I'd feel better about losing by 10 or less. What a sad world we Jaguar fans live in.

No pain, no gain.

Quote:It is a lot more probable than beating the Bolts was last Sunday. We will finally have Chris Ivory and it is a home game. Prince Amukamara has a better chance of playing. Philip Rivers > Joe Flacco.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Let's just do it like the injury report....It's not probable that we beat the ravens....it's doubtful.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Can we count on Ivory when we don't even know what laid him up the last two weeks - also....doubtful

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prince playing? after not practicing all week?....yep another doubtful

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">rivers (who never WON a Super Bowl) better than flacco?...Not only doubtful...unproven by fact

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">

Quote:Pus Badly has NEVER beat a team who made the playoffs in the season we beat them.

In 2013 with a gutted roster we beat the Titans (7-9) the Texans twice (2-14) and the Browns (4-12). I'm not seeing a playoff team there much less one with a winning record.

2014 Pus accumulated a whopping 3 wins against the Browns (7-9) the Giants (6-10) and the Titans (2-14). Once again no playoff teams or one with a winning record.

The 2015 "built" team managed a paltry 5 wins against the Dolphins (6-10) the Bills (8-8) the Ravens (5-11) the Titans (3-13) and the Colts (8-8). Pus was able to scrap together 2 wins against teams with non-losing records and the Colts was missing Andrew Luck. Again no playoff teams.

Pus is a garbage coach with a garbage scheme who does a [BAD WORD REMOVED] poor job preparing his teams for game day. Unfortunately he's getting another chance this season to regress our beloved team and make us laughingstocks for a forth year in a row.

I'm so confident that Pus will either get fired before the season is over or at the end that I'll only post in the MMA thread for a month if he somehow manages to keep his job beyond this season.

Nice breakdown Storm.

I know the Giants weren't a playoff team in 2014, but they were a 2 time Super Bowl champ and both the QB and the HC were the same ones who won those games. Plus, add in the fact that the Jags were trailing 21-0 at one point and it's also the biggest comeback in Jags history, and it happened under Gus of all people.

That has to be the one and only time a Gus led Jags team has comeback from a double digit deficit, as I can't think of another one. When the Jags trail by 10 or more it's pretty much over for them, except for that 1 miracle win against the Giants.

So of Gus 12 wins in 4 years, 2 came against 7-9 teams and 2 came against 8-8 teams and as of right now there are 0 <span style="font-size:14px;">wins against playoff teams. </span>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Just another sad stat in the Gus Bradley led era of the Jags.</span>

Reasons for optimism: Ivory is back and he might be the biggest x-factor for this offense. In the preseason when offense was doing good, the running game was led by Ivory. A lot of the mistakes seems to be blown coverages and penalties which are correctable. We are playing at home.

The thing that has me worried most are the injuries. If Linder, House and Prince cant go we are thin at two key areas. I say if all three play we win if all three dont we lose.

No. you're obviously wrong but you're choosing to not accept it.

Almost means absolutely nothing in the NFL. Do they keep track of almost wins? How many "almost wins" did the Jags have in 2014? 2013?

You argue with people on things where you are clearly wrong.

Well I sure don't feel good about the Jags "almost" going to the Super Bowl.

I don't feel good about the Jags "almost" beating the Packers on opening day either.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
