You forgot to add that gas was $0.10 a gallon and they delivered milk to your house every day in glass bottles...

Gas? We didn't buy gas because we didn't have a car. We walked everywhere, uphill, in every direction.

Milk? We had to walk uphill through 3 feet of snow to milk the cows at 3:00 in the morning so we could be to school by 6:00 in a one room schoolhouse...with no heat!

No heat? you lucky snotnosed kids!

 

My school had A/C and central heating. The heat would only work during summer and the A/C would only work during winter.
