Pro Bowl voting

Jameis over Bortles is a troll post (compare the defense, running game, offensive line), but that's not the point.

The point, is if we could go back to before the 2014 draft and say "if we draft this Bortles kid at QB, he will be the most sacked qb in the NFL, but will also be a borderline pro bowler after just his 2nd season. Or, we can draft Clowney, u pick" everyone in Jacksonville would've chosen and treated Bortles like a god. He, Linder, Telvin, and the Allens all but guarantee Dave Caldwell keeps his job, and Gus Bradley because of Greg Olsen (because of Blake) will keep his job also. That's what Bortles has done in 2 years here; be a borderline probowler, give the fans hope, save a coaching staff and front office, all while being the most sacked qb in the league over the last 2 years. Get him some help on the Oline and I think Bortles has more potential than the pro bowl game.

“It just shows what kind of team we are. We’re a tough team. We like contact. We’re very physical. We want the issue to be brought to us so we can show people we can stand up to it and overcome it. Seeing that’s just a symbol of our team and who we are.” - Jaguars DT Malik Jackson

According to our good friends over at BCC, only Poz and Telvin are in the top 10 for the fan voting at their respective positions thus far.

We need to get the click bots going for Bortles.

Fan voting is only 1/3 of the process anyway. ARob should make it easily really. Small teams always get screwed in these things... Delanie Walker isn't in the top 10 TE's either for the tacks.

I don't even care about the pro bowl enough to vote, but hopefully we get some guys in it. Would be nice if the jags got a player in.

And I have Allen Robinson and Blake Bortles in both my leagues and they have saved my season. I'm currently starting Bortles over Brees in one of those leagues, and I haven't benched Robinson most of the year (had him on the bench week 1 I think)

Yeah Walker has been at least a top 5 tight end. Gronkowski, Barnidge and Olsen are only the ones better this year imo

No love for Eifert, the league leader in TDs?

It's a toss-up between Gronk and Eifert this season for the best TE IMO.

You're right, I completely forgot about Eifert and his break out season.

Well if the voting was 100% based on fan voting, we would have only 1 pro bowler. Telvin Smith finished 7th in OLB voting. Pro Bowl likely to take 8 OLBs.

Interesting. Hopefully the coaches and players show respect him and Allen Robinson.

It will be an absolute travesty if ARob is not in it.

ARob and Telvin should both be in easily.

Definitely ARob and Telvin. Pox pretty underrated league wide but I bet players vote for him.
