The NCAA tournament is going to be crazy.  No dominant teams, mediocre to good teams all over the place.  I'm thinking many, many people will have the brackets busted within the first four days of the tournament (myself included).

 

Coaching is going to be critical.  Even in the early rounds.

 

Personally, I'm anxious to see how far Villanova, Xavier, Seton Hall, and Providence go.  I thought the Big East was going to collapse after the departure of Louisville, Syracuse, and Pitt to the ACC but it looks like they're hanging in there.  Perhaps they look better than they really are since this is the class that was still recruited when the Big East was in tact.  Maybe the drop off comes in another year or 2.  Hopefully, they can maintain their highly competitive conference.l

VCU just notched it's 10th straight 20+ win season and has a shot at making it seven straight 26+ win seasons. I'm feeling rather lucky about that.

Looking at Michigan's record (20-10, 10-7), I think they might still get in. A win over Iowa today is almost a play-in game for them. Throw in a win or two in the conference tournament and I definitely think they're in. However, it starts with a win over Iowa today. Lose that and they're probably on the outside looking in.

I am still unsure of what happened either. That was a whippin. I was really hoping they'd win because I wanted to go to the title game again. Went last year and the atmosphere was awesome, and the game matched it.
