He's missed 3 extra points and already cost the team a win.
Yup if he cant make a freaking xp he has to go, its plenty of vet kickers out there

I'm surprised we've not gone for two at all because of his inaccuracy.

It's the 72% on the field goals that bothers me more than anything.

He's just NOT good.  Weak leg and very inaccurate.

Now, we focus on who to bring in next week.  My vote off the top of my head is for Randy Bullock or Billy Cundiff.  Probably workout Scobee, also, but his leg seems to have weakened with age and he has a head full of demons after being in Pitt.

He's not good. How he managed to beat Josh out amazes me. The kid stinks on ice. Gotta look at the kicker position this week.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

They have to replace him in the bye. He had his shot and just is not good.

Basically the concerns when he was named kicker are what we've seen. Missing three extra points in seven games is inexcusable.

The gators held try outs this week for kickers...I'm betting we could pick up one of their rejects for a snickers and a bowl of ice cream.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

Though did he really beat out Scobee?  I thought Scobee was just traded because of the two he had trade value.

Scobee made all his field goals in the preseason and only had 1 return on kick offs.

Please... please... pleeeeeease don't bring back Scobee.  I'm all for giving him a tryout because of his previous tenure, but it's about time for him to hang it up.

I just looked up his stats... he made 6/10 (60%) of his field goals and only 85% of his PATs this year.  The 4 that he missed were ALL inside 50 yards.  Beyond 50, he will really struggle with his weakened leg.

Myers only made 24/38 in college at Marist for Pete's sake. Then he kicks indoor for arena league team. Then Gus hires him.

You know those big cooling fans that are about 6 ft. tall? The coaches should build a platform and stack 4 of those on top of each other and put them in various places to the side and in front of the goal posts. Then let him practice for hours on end and no sweet desert treat with assorted flavors of candies for him until he hits 10 for 10 outside of 40 yards.

I'm not even necessarily saying bring back Scobee, was just saying did Myers really beat him out like someone mentioned.

Wrong thread, as always, by the armchair GMs.

The correct thread title is this:

'Sign __________ to replace Myers'.
