The FA G market was just set incredibly high

Quote:Then what did you mean by the bolded part? It sounds like you are saying, you know they want to stay.
Maybe reading the whole sentence would help...IF the Bengals wanted to keep them and the players wanted to stay then they have money to sign all 3 of them easily.

Quote:The Bengals have more than enough money to sign Zeitler, Whitworth, and Kilpatrick if they wanted to, and of course the players wanted to stay. They just don't believe in paying guards top dollar.

In your original statement you should've put a period after Kirkpatrick. And started the new sentence with "If". I'm not trying to be a grammar Nazi, but it reads totally different without the period at the end. That period after Kirkpatrick would've made me understand what you were saying. It was just a mix up in the wording. I understand what you are meaning now.

Or even a comma after "of course"

Lamp is legit . On top of that the O-Line class is looking really good the more and more I look at it. I don't want Zeitler, Whitworht, Joke or Vollmer.. I think the Jags could come out of the draft with 1 or 2 lineman that could start week 1

The OG/Center class is really good. The RT class isn't too bad either. It's the LT class that is flat out pathetic. Teams that need a LT, need to take one in round 1, because outside of Ramczyk, the quality drops sharply. Then, outside of Bolles, Robinson and maybe Roderick Johnson, it drops sharply again. From there, it's a real crapshoot.

There are a bunch of guys with really good physical attributes at least so even if you cant get a Ramczyk, Johnon, you can still find someone that looks the part of a developmental guy. I really want a Left Tackle somehow, someway.

What worry's me is that Dave is not going to be able to strategist this draft well enough to come away with a Safety, Defensive Lineman, Tackle and Running back that can start or be impactful

Roderick Johnson is garbage. One of those guys who looks the part, plays for a big school but is actually trash. Kind of like Flowers.

I'm skeptical of developmental LT prospects. They rarely work out. Guys who have all the measurables (height, weight, bench press, long arms, big hands, etc), but for some reason or another things break down on the field, particularly in pass protection. There have been a ton of guys like this that come and go from the league, very quickly. I too want a young LT, especially given Brandon Albert's injury history. Hopefully, we will be looking at some small school guys who get overlooked. Two guys l would look at very late in the draft are Nate Theaker of Wayne State and Levon Myers of Northern Illinois.

I'm totally on the fence with this guy. Some plays he looks good and some plays he stands out as the worst starting lineman on Florida State. I don't know if it's mental or what. He will get overdrafted though. Probably in round 2, given the razor thin depth at the LT position.

Teah theres some solid guards in the class. I know we have the money to do it, but 13 mill in a guard is just an ugly number

I smell a trade down (or trade downs) and they end up with Lamp or Ryan Ramczyk
