Ok. He did good except for the kick offs.

Logan was kicking off then Urbs said hes a punter he should not be kicking off and put wright in to kicking off. Logan was kicking TB almost every time Urbs is a Moron.

I think part of the thinking is you dont want to get the punter hurt or tired from kicking kick offs, but when your offense doesnt score, I guess there is no worrys a out that anyway.

Jihad Ward signed with the Giants yesterday. With McCray also moving on, ineffectiveness of Chaisson, and questionable growth prospect in last year's draft pick Smith, edge rotational players (not just a starter) are needed. I guess these are likely the reasons they brought in Arden Key for an interview.

10% improvement over last year puts us at 3.3 wins...  That still rounds down to 3  Blush

That math doesn't take in consideration that half the teams went backwards. 2 in our division.

It's also an old index. Since the Colts traded for Matt Ryan they went from second loser to second winner.

Matt Ryan is finished

Agreed. He'll be ancient Philip Rivers 2.0 for the Dolts. The GM is just desperate to keep his job with a volatile owner who sets unrealistic expectations. He had no better options after whiffing on Wentz.

Seeing Matt Ryan come into our division makes me want to draft Hutchinson even more.  Matt Ryan will stand in that pocket.  He'll be a nice target if we can get a pass rush on him.

He's still better than Carson Wentz.

Debatable. He hasn't played on a winning team in four years. His numbers look good during the regular season, probably because he plays eight home games inside a dome and a ninth game in a dome in New Orleans.

Matt Ryan is overrated. Always has been. He's a slightly older version of Kirk Cousins at this point in his career.

Willing to bet Wentz goes on to have a better year than Ryan in 2022 and Washington sneaks into the play-off's.

Hmm... there's a couple hot takes in one post. I pretty much disagree with most of it. Not saying Ryan is still a great QB but was always overrated is kinda laughable

Yeah I think Matt Ryan is still a tough QB. He has beaten us consistently over the years, so I think let’s give a little respect for now lol

I think Matt Ryan has more remaining in the tank than most.  However, if Indianapolis doesn't come up with a viable short term solution at LT and the Jaguars use the pick # 1 draft resource on a DE/ Edge player to pair with Josh Allen,  Ryan's limited mobility will likely become a major factor when the teams face each other.

Agreed.

Matt has at least a couple years of quality passing left IMO, but he'll need near-elite level protection to make that offense a division competitor.
The colts are in pretty good shape that way compared to many other o-lines, but they'll be tested. Especially if the Jags indeed get production from an early pick EDGE.

The abilities of RB Jonathan Taylor should greatly help Matt Ryan being able to play to his strengths and help limit the negative impact of his limited mobility.

Yet, if Taylor is limited on early downs and/ or the Colts commit a penalty that leads them to expected passing down situations,  that's especially when the Jaguars and some other Colts opponents could have a field day against Ryan.

Former number one overall pick. 4 - 6 in the post season. Was voted to the pro bowl four times during his 14 year career. 1x MVP. Never led the NFL any regular season in passing yardage nor passing touchdowns.

This is despite of playing with guys like Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez, etc. In a dome, nine times a year.

He'll forever be remembered as the QB that blew it in epic fashion on the greatest stage in the worst loss in Superbowl history. He's overrated. Sorry, not sorry. Atlanta should have done this years ago instead of waiting until now to trade him.

He's a very, very poor man's Peyton Manning.

I honestly don’t see Ward as much of a loss. We still have Smoot, and we’re going to draft at least one edge rusher. I’d be surprised if we didn’t take one at either 1 or 33 and another on day 3.

My bad. Was still in high school in 2008. For some reason I thought he was numero uno in Atlanta. Interesting class that year though after taking a sneak peek at it. Flacco went in that same class.
