Deflate Gate - the report is in

Sure, no murder, so why are the Patriots running around burying bloody knives?  Bob Kraft has stepped in it now.  This isn't going to rinse off his shoe.

Well, no. No murder here. But the Cowboys just signed someone accused of murdering his girlfriend. Along with someone who punches pregnant women, another who hits his mother, etc. The team is full of screw ups. The NFL is full is screw ups. Why isn't there a 48 page thread about that? Do you guys really care more about deflated footballs?

Think of all the poor pigs who died and gave their skins to the game. Shouldn't desecrating their memory by under inflating the footballs be more important that a few human victims?

Looks like your vain attempts at peddling pseudo science has yet again failed. Brady's shut down for the first quarter of his season, the team's been sanctioned multiple draft picks and fined a million bucks. Looks like your precious status quo was just upended, friend. I know this is a hard time to be an apologist, but I think you are thick enough to get through it.

I'm not apologizing for anything. Goodell is a joke and you're straight up wrong. Have fun with your fraudulent win against a team without their star player -- you should be proud. Have fun cheering on an institution that cares more about deflated footballs than the safety of women.

So Boyle's Law is pseudo science? You really have no clue.

I have no love for Brady and I stated earlier that I expected a harsh decision. Based on the report I think an injustice was done, but that's the prerogative of the NFL.

I think it's a fairly reasonable punishment for the single violation that was considered here.  The question of cheating in earlier games and previous seasons is being covered up by the NFL.  I suspect the Cheatriots will bend over and take this mild paddling rather than fight it and risk burning the whole house down.

You might be right. A first round pick hurts, but it's probably a late pick, not worth fighting over. The Pats won't contest it.

If I were Brady and I were innocent, I'd sue the hell out of the NFL. It's not like he's lacking in financial resources. What happens there will be interesting to watch. (grabs popcorn)

And the ref (or whoever) who allowed the Colts to play an entire half in a championship game at a possible disadvantage gets off scot free?

Lol, you are naive if you think Brady is innocent. Sheesh.

Lol, he keeps saying he looks at the evidence and thats how he makes his judgement....if you look at the evidence that was given, its pretty obvious he was in on the scheme.  Why else would he give the guy signed memorbilia to deflate the balls?

If he wasn't guilty, he should just release all his text with those two guys.  Lets see what it really says.  Clear the air Tom, I want to see if you're really guilty or not.

Or maybe he'll do like Malabar says and sue the league....lol.  Will he show his text messages with the equipment guys if he sued?  I bet he wouldnt.  Fyi, the players union signed up to the leagues punishment process...he doesn't have much leg to stand on.

The question is not whether or not Brady and the equipment guy fiddled with the ball pressure. The question is whether or not they fiddled with it after the ref's pre-game measurements to make it below the NFL's specifications. The evidence from the Wells report shows that the balls were probably not deflated after the measurements that showed them at 12.5 psi.

What evidence exactly are you reading?  It was proven the guy brought the footballs into the mens restroom after they were checked.

Anyone catch Wells on the Radio? He was hot and the tone of his voice showed that, rightfully so.

The Pats did everything they could to protect their golden boy and it back fired. I think he, and the Patriots themselves got off light to be honest. Sneaky, sneaky organization.

My favorite clip in all of this is Brady on a local radio show and he gets asked if he had better grip on the ball then did the Colts. He had that laugh and comment that prove he just knew everything and kind of a "why are you asking me this you idiot".

Yeah, the Patriots got off pretty light.  Especially since Belichick wasn't suspended at all.  He wasn't involved, but then again "Ignorance is no excuse."

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Oooh! Can I have one!

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

His response to Brady's lawyer was phenominal.  The guy was mad at the response and challenging his integrity.
