Jags chasing Murray and Thomas

#81

Quote:well, I mean, why would we be interested in the best pass blocking RT on the market?

Injuries? Which are legitimate concerns for Bulaga. Point is, I'm just simply pointing out the difference in the reports.

So I'm hoping that tomorrow, we announce:

1.  Julius Thomas

2.  Demarco Murray

3.  Jermey Parnell

4.  Jared Odrick

with a few extra signings in the coming weeks.

Rumors coming out that Murray is expected to take a smaller deal and stay in Dallas.

Seems like he was using the Jags for leverage and the Cowboys didnt bite. I doubt he had any real intention of leaving the Cowboys at all.

I had never heard of House but apparently he was the 7th best FA CB available.

NMSU and 6'1/195.  Seems like a McCray clone, lol.

He said he wants to be a starter, but pretty sure McCray and Colvin got the two starting spots down now.  Would he be willing to come to compete?

If the Pack lose out on Williams then House would get the opportunity to start, assuming they can re-sign him.

Was hoping the Jags would add a big name or two with all the cap room they have. Well, out of the ones they have already agreed with other teams. For now they are going to have to overpay to get guys over, which I get and Parnell is evidence of that.   Still renewed season tix anyway.

Still wonder if the Jags could try Colvin at FS?

Or Gratz

Gratz doesn't fit the FS mold. If House comes here, he's likely going to start (he wants to start, so whatever team signs him probably gives him that guarantee). So it would be Colvin moving to FS, and Gratz in the nickel

Murray is a bit overused.  I'd rather see us draft an RB, but if we sign Murray, whatever.  I'm sure Caldwell knows what he's doing.  He still hasn't done anything that makes me think "Dear god, we're in trouble aren't we?"

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
