Scientists depend on funding to continue doing their research so why would it only apply to climate scientists? And they are only the worst offenders again because their science doesn't agree with your politics.

 

They are the worst offenders because the lies make a huge difference in the funding. Lying about a the variability of star, the age of a rock, the rate of a chemical reaction, or the mass of an elementary particle is not going to result in additional government funding.
