I personally would like Trestman as a QB coach only. The guy loves the check down offense. Give me him and Greg Roman at OC.

I doubt Koetter would return. Roman and Trestman, maybe.

If you run Trestmans offense right, it works. Cutler liked to do his own thing while McCown did what he was asked and looked great.

I can see Greg Roman, coming over. Hardbough is gone and he might want to coach Bortles, instead of, sticking to Kaepernick.

Even Clausen seemed competent for the one game he started under Trestman.

Marc Trestman is a brilliant offensive coach, he'd be a planet size upgrade over Jedd.

And for goodness sake they dont bunch the receivers all the time in Trestman's offense

I definitely thought that having that many rookies on offense would save Fisch for one more year. Gus says he wants a 'fast offense'. I like that.

Smart move. Two thumbs up! Fisch simply didn't show anything to warrant him returning. The only reason he should've come back is for Bortles' consistency. Even if Fisch had another season, he wouldn't have changed anything. As far as consistency for Bortles goes, it shouldn't be hard to forget Fisch's playbook that only had a handful of plays. One more season too, Bortles transition to Ghenne would've been complete. I'm glad we addressed this now than later. That puts us one season ahead. Maybe we can finally see some seams, posts, corners, and verts which were nonexistant in Fisch's offense. Even looking back at his Miami playcalling, Fisch was infatuated with the curl route which is one of the easiest routes to get a pick six on, especially at the NFL level with the faster speed and more time dedicated to the filmroom. I am so relieved this was not a trollpost. Fisch had to go.
