The Indianapolis Colts are a bad football team

Quote:Fair points. Eight wins are not necessary to win the NFC South. The winner of that division will be either 7-8-1 or 7-9. We will find out next year if the Colts would have a winning record in the NFC South. Let's see what they do against the Saints, Falcons, and Panthers before making any more assumptions. Quote:Ahh, another Hall of Fame voter telling us that "Pagano is just a guy". Thanks for that great insight, coach. RE #1: With all due respect, some people have the ability to recognize multiple issues at the same time. Picking one or the other may help some who get easily confused to understand situations that are complex. But simple reasons are usually not the entire answer. It very well could be 2 situations that are equally valid. Don't be upset if it's too difficult for you to understand this. RE #2: Again, with all due respect, I'd rather not be the clots. Yes, they have had success, but whether you want to believe it or not, alot of it has to due with the weak division they find themselves in. The jags and tacks have been total garbage. And the tinhorns have no QB. The clots have a bad O-Line, almost as bad as us. They have no running game. And they have a pretty soft defense. But hey, if you love how well they are doing over in Indy, more power to ya. I'd prefer the way Caldwell is building our team. But that's just me, cuz I'm a Jaguars fan. :thanks:
Quote:If they don't find a defense and a running game, it won't matter what Luck does, it will never be enough. YES. Quote:p.s. denver = 111.3 ypg rushing, 4 ypa I got Colts at 103.2 ypg rushing. Take out Luck's rushing yards and it drops to 85.3 ypg. Quote:Come on man, you're really showing your lack of perspective and knowledge right now... Luck has had a horrible December. There's no way to deny that. Just deal with it. Absolutely. Luck has really slumped this December. I haven't denied that. However, he's really the least of the concern. He's getting NO HELP. Especially in that Dallas game. It was 21-0 before he got a first down (with multiple drops prior to that, that would have given the Colts first downs)! Quote:nice to see coltswarrior never came back after all that information i provided. my inferior brain strained hard for all of that. I told you I'd be back. I do not live on this board like most.
Quote: I hear ya. The one thing that, as a Jaguars fan, I find comfort in is the lack of accuracy I see on his mid and long passes. You are right, Luck got no help yesterday. His WRs dropped alot of balls. But there were a several balls that were dropped because they were not on target or under-thrown. There was one ball in particular that was 20 yards down field to a wide open TE and luck completely underthrew him... The TE did get his hands on it, so you can blame the TE a bit for it. But if one is to expect luck to reach the exalted position of the next Marino, Elway, Brady, or <insert favorite QB here> those passes have to be better thrown by luck. Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Luck will probably never be the "elite" guy the media tries to sell us on a weekly basis, and lets be honest. He isn't good looking enough to make me want to buy a 6" sub or a cell phone.

Do looks really matter? I don't know that I've ever heard anyone exclaim how handsome Peyton looks on his Buick and Papa Johns commercials.
Quote:Do looks really matter? LOL, but Manning has somewhat of a normal face.... Luck? not so much The other thing is that luck has a voice made for silent movies. He's the complete opposite of a marketable spokesman. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote:You think so? LOL, Boris Karloff ain't got nuthin' on luck! I've changed my mind, luck should definately be a cover boy! The cover of the Frankenberry Cereal box!! Heyyy yoooo!
Quote: From Yahoo's Winners and Losers column:Their D has also bailed them out a few times. Think about all the turnovers luck had against the jags, he was also dreadful against the Browns. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

That play you mention was funny, it would have been a good catch on a horribly under thrown ball and they blame the tight end. A couple of weeks ago Lewis dropped a perfect pass wide open and the announcer claimed the throw by Bottles was behind him even though it hit him perfectly in stride. Sometimes the difference between quarterbacks is purely peoples biases and perceptions. Luck seems to always be talked of favourably, you see him regularly make bad decisions and the announcers never acknowledge it. While If Defenders drop a Bortles pass they will bang on about his poor decision making for 5 mins.
