Hopefully Houston doesn't get him

Broncos lose Julius Thomas in Free Agency and draft Maxx Williams to replace him.

Sounds logical to me.

Looks like Maxx Williams is more of a Rd 2 selection than a Rd 1 selection.

He most likely will fall to Pick 36 and will be available to the Jags in Rd 2.

The Pats, Broncos, Packers, Seahawks, Ravens, and Browns could all use a TE. I'm guessing he doesn't make it out of the first.

It's a limited TE class. For that reason alone he will get drafted higher than he should.

Our best hope is landing a TE in free agency.

I usually do not agree with the FA path but from what I saw at the combine and on film I have to agree with you.

Just can't see Maxx Williams being selected in Rd 1. I think Pick 36 is high for him, but I could see the Jags taking him if he is there at Pick 36, assuming that Gurley or Gordon is not there at Pick 36.

I wouldn't be shocked if a tight end isn't the first free agent they sign.

I'd be happy with Walford also. I think both can be good tight ends.

Odds are if Thomas or Cameron leave in FA we will have signed one of them. Leaving the Williams debate kind of moot.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Agreed. We may still consider a TE, but it would be a late round developmental pick to back up Cameron or Thomas.
