 Didn't they lose?

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Quote:People already have. It is Pete Carroll. He brought a different style to coaching that worked and has proven to work. This is a silly thing to worry about or even discuss for that matter.

The problem I have with this is, do you think Gus is trying to be Carrol? If he is, that's dumb. You can take notes on how people do things, but you can't try to be someone you're not, and expect the same results. I'm just speculating based up the post. Gus should be him.

You can't be Belichick either. I don't know how, but this guy just seams to be on a different level as far as coaching goes.

The topics on this board have become so damn dumb. Years before it was Del Rio didn't show enough emotion. Players not crying and eating babies on the sidelines after a bad play. I can't imagine how some here function outside of mom's basement.

It is weird. I'm no shrink but I think some people don't get enough validation in real life so they have to come on here to convince us (themselves) how smart, or tough, or insightful they are.

They seem to take some of this stuff so personally - like the coaches and players answer to them.

I'm not sure you can group some of the posters on here with the fanbase.

I know. Like brass cares what you did on madden and it worked.

Unfortunately, we are all apart of this ratchet fanbase.

Chuckd -- excellent points about the board complaining about JDRs lack of emotion complaints.  JDR did not allow the players to have swag.  I'm seeing it back on this team and that all starts with Gus & Dave getting playmakers.   I just hope the Gus master has what it takes in breaking down film and making game time decisions (e.g. clock management, etc.)

According to urban dictionary:

Quote:...a "Rachet" person is the most non-classy human-being in presence. They usually have the worst grammar problems and they always try to pick fights with everybody.

"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."

Good point. I have to remind myself sometimes that this message board population represents about .001% of the actual fan base.

The "regular people" I talk to concerning the Jaguars just want to see some wins and be entertained. Many (perhaps more women?) tend to see it in civic terms, such as the Symphony or something - something the city can rally around.

Maybe he meant "wretched."

Well ratchet can be used in more ways than that. Its like using the word "bad" or "hot" or "stupid" or certain curse words that arent curse words depending on how u use them. lol
