Pretty close in a lot of them? 8 of the 11 games were double digit losses. Being in it at the half doesn't constitute 'close' when you get blown out early in the 3rd quarter. Also, ten of those opponent wins are from losses by the Jags. For example, Indy is 5-4 against the rest of the league.


 

I expect us to win the tacks game. The Jets and Giants are beatable, but probably losses nonetheless. I doubt we can beat Houston.

I expect a double digit loss tomorrow against NY.  This team can't score and NY can.

Please, there's a lot more to closeness in games than the amount of points you lost by. That can be so misleading. I trust I don't need to go in-depth on all the games for you.

 

Let's say closeness is being down by one score or less going into the 4th quarter. An average team can certainly win after being down by more than one score in the fourth quarter, but the Jags aren't exactly a high scoring powerhouse (32nd out of 32 teams). Being behind by two scores or more with only one quarter to play is pretty much a death sentence for this team. Averaging 3.65 points per quarter the Jags would need to produce nearly triple their average to exceed an 8 point margin.

I'm not sure what it's about. Maybe it's the lack of a true male figure in your life, but some of you are a few decades past the time this was supposed to happen.

 

Just a public service to help turn some of you realize how a man should act. I don't know. Products of broken homes or something, but someone in your life should have taught you the lesson that boys don't cry, especially over a game.

 

It's funny that you complain about insults and bashing, but you think it's perfectly ok to do that to the players and people in the organization behind their back anonymously on a message board. It gets pretty uncomfortable when you become the one being called out. I probably have spent my money on the services that your employer provides too.That means I have the same rights and entitlements to speak about you the same exact way that you seem to believe you have rights and entitlement to personally bad mouth the people in the jags organization.

 

There are no special rules that say it's ok to do it behind their back. I just have the fortitude to do what you consider a right to your face.

I would also highlight the Bengals game. It was a 26-23 game with 8 minutes left. I'd say that was a close one.

 

The Dolphins game was a game the Jags dominated, but fell flat on their face.

I just reviewed the Jags schedule for this season. 

 

- Philadelphia (8-3)

 

- Washington (3-8)

 

- Indianapolis (7-4)

 

- San Diego (7-4)

 

- Pittsburgh (7-4)

 

- Tennessee (2-9)

 

- Cleveland (7-4)

 

- Miami (6-5)

 

- Cincinnati (7-3-1)

 

- Dallas (8-3)

 

- Indianapolis (7-4)

 

Our schedule's actually been pretty brutal, and the team's been pretty close in a lot of them. However, 4 of our next 5 games are against teams with losing records. Hopefully we're able to see the Jags pull out some W's against weaker competition. Houston, Tennessee, and New York are all very beatable teams.
