Agreed.  But we can't give up on Joeckel just yet and that is part of the problem.  We don't know what he will or won't become.  All I know is our oline sucks.

Amari Cooper will be a star, and that's something the Jags desperately need. We haven't had a star calibre player since Maurice's prime.

I agree. Though it'd be nice to have one of the D-Lineman at the top this year, I think this current season shows that no matter how well one's D performs, it's not going to get a team anywhere when your Offense is pretty much anemic. 

 

I think the Jags should do their utmost to bring in offensive playmakers this coming draft.

I think the plan will be to draft heavy in offense again and pray we can spend some money on defense. We have so much caproom and it shows.

If the Jags can bring in a player like KJ Wright, and an experienced FS, I think that'll give lots of wiggle room in the top half of the draft to go Offense. I'd like to see some defensive players taken in the back end of the draft though.

I think he's brought in strong talent, but I believe the Offensive and ST coordinators have done a bad job. Bradley also, but there's no way he gets fired this off-season, and he's done a good job with the Defense. I do think the coordinators go though, and that'd be real nice to see.

I think Bowanko is good enough at center. I could see them signing a veteran right tackle. And draft a guard somewhat early to replace Beadles.

 

I wonder if he's good enough in pass protection.  We've run the ball well at times, but we can't pass protect longer than 1 second so how good is our unit anyway?

As a unit, not that good. I think Bowanko/Linder are pieces you can build around though. Joeckel gets one more year maybe. Pasztor gets the boot.

I honestly don't know how good any of these guys are. OL is one of the hardest positions for us as fans to know how well they performed. Especially in a zbs scheme.

this guy is a transcendent talent.

 

we're going to be picking top 3ish and we have to take this chap.

 

i know that WR isn't a need, and we have several areas of need, but this guy is a talent the caliber of AJ Green/Julio Jones/Megatron, in my opinion.

 

just imagine:

 

1. Cooper

2. Blackmon

3. Robinson

4. Hurns

5. Lee

 

in my opinion, he is the best prospect this year by a considerable margin.

If Blake's unable to work with a receiving unit of that calibre, then he has serious issues. Regardless, taking a QB in the top 5 in back to back years would be awful. 

 

I think the Jags get Cooper, hope Blake can take a step forward, and if not, target another young QB the year after.
