Could a loss today start to make the seat a little warm for Gus Bradley?

Yea that was on the assumption we'd build on that this year going into the bye winless again wouldn't be the same .

Gus Bradley has one more win than the Houston coach who was hired this year. A rookie head coach spots you a year and will have the same amount of wins as you in the next couple of weeks.

Texans have quite a bit of talent, and it helps when you have an all-world defensive player like Watt. Also the Texans have gotten away with a cakewalk schedule.

So tired of hearing this as an argument.

They have a QB that would be a backup on 31 other teams.

And they've beaten the Redskins, Raiders, and Bills

3 teams a mediocre team should be able to beat. We aren't mediocre. We are horrendous.

Quote:The guy was obviously hired into a tough situation. Worst roster in the league. Handed Blaine Gabbert. Left to clean up a mess. His personality was an ideal fit but can he coach? We don't know. What we do know is that his record as coach is 4-13.

I think he actually got the benefit of the doubt in 2013 considering the team started 0-8. We didn't hear many complaints about Bradley. Rolling off 4 wins in 5 games was impressive after the bye. But then ended the year on a three game skid. Now that is at four losses in a row.

Although the underdog, it would be no upset if the Jaguars were to win today. Washington was awful that week. RGIII is still a shell of his former self. They are missing starters on both sides of the ball with injury.

But what if the Jaguars lose?

That would put them at 0-2 and headed back for the home opener. Imagine if Philly wins tonight at Indy. Do you like our chances against a desperate 0-2 Indy team, even at home? The same team that blew us out twice last year. Then it is on the road at San Diego, on the coast of horrors for this franchise. Could 0-4 happen? That would give Bradley an 8 game losing streak and a 7 game losing streak in a year and a half in the NFL. That just doesn't happen.

Absolutely not.  We need Gus Bradley here.  He is the absolute fit for this franchise.  These things take time.  We have just had terrible luck for consecutive years.  YEARS of terrible decision making by 3+ different combinations of front office guys.  This stuff doesn't happen over night, and in some cases, over the course of many seasons.

Dallas on the other hand.  I don't see how Jason Garrett has kept his job this long.  Many let down season from those guys.  Always rated very high because of their roster on paper.  He must have something on Jerry Jones to keep his job that long.

There is no chance that Bradley will be in any trouble this season and maybe even into next year. As much as I want to rip my eyes out watching recievers run wide open in the secondary, I also know that this was a complete teardown rebuild (like it or not!)  He's got to coach more effectively on defense,  but in fairness he's having to coach third day draft picks in their second year and undrafted free agents at key positions.  it takes time to get his guys in there.  Most importantly, it looks as though the kid can play and is developing nicely.  If he creates the right environment for the kid then you replace the defensive staff, not the HC.

I know its not in his nature but I'd like to see Gus get mad. He can be positive again when we start winning. Its time to get real with this team.

What I wonder is will Bradley be willing to give his old buddy Babich the axe at the end of the season

I think that's the guy we thought we would get, someone with an edge like harbaugh. Instead, he ended up being the captain of the cheer squad.

Really, they do. And have. It's taken quite some ability to keep them underperforming so much with so many elite players on both sides of the ball - someone deserves an award for that.

Jim Harbaugh is a clown. I'd take his brother over him.

The loss didn't but I think if we keep losing in that fashion, then yes, he will wind up on the hot seat.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

What will that help?  Is this not Gus' scheme?  It isn't working, and I don't know if it will ever work unless we match Seattle and get the best FS and CB in the league.  The odds of that happening are really small.

No. He's 100% safe. Got to give he and Caldwell a solid 3 full seasons.

I don't understand what Jon Harbaugh even brings to the table?  He doesn't do offense and their defense is a shell of its former self.  They made the one super bowl run after firing their OC mid-season and honestly got lucky.

Jim at least brings his offensive acumen to the table.  I'll take Jim over Jon.
