** Packers vs Seahawks Gameday Thread **

Quote:Aren't there rumors that the Jags will go after Maxwell in free agency next year? He pretty much held his own for the most part and was being thrown at basically the entire night. Would be another good poach from SEA next year IMO I doubt it. I think we have two potentially good corners in McCray and Colvin.

Quote:I doubt it. I think we have two potentially good corners in McCray and Colvin. Agree. I woud think Gratz, McCray, Colvin is your top three CB next year. Maybe Ball is back. Quote:yeah, hell of a trainer...Yet you have no problem signing Red Bryant and Chris Clemmons?
I think you might see the "elite" passer that Russell Wilson is supposed to be next week against San Diego.

Seattle Seahawks:
1. Elite, tough, physical Defense 2. Strong running game, one of the top RB 3. Read-Option based Offense,, with the addition of a true OW that can be WR, RB, and a dangerous Return man At the top of the NFL. Personally, I never was a big fan of theirs. But, it's awesome to see their "Smash Mouth" brand of football is still a formula to great success. Good stuff Quote:Glad you find that humorous. Where was your prediction, oh wise one?On my facebook page. 41-13. I was off a little. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:On my facebook page. 41-13. I was off a little.Gotcha. I put 36-16 on my facebook page. Quote:Put him on an offense like the Jets, see how "elite" he is.John Idzik, the Jets General Manager and former Seahawks contract and salary cap guru would kill for Russell Wilson. And don't forget that Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin were undrafted free agents. Quote:Gotcha. I put 36-16 on my facebook page.Well, how's this one. Quote: Quote:John Idzik, the Jets General Manager and former Seahawks contract and salary cap guru would kill for Russell Wilson.Lol, i'm sure they would! He's a good QB, not debating that, but he wouldn't look nearly as good if he were in a different situation. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:In 2010 the Jags took D' Anthony Smith in the 3rd round, and Jimmy Graham was still on the board. True, but Jimmy Graham would not be nearly the player he is with the Saints and Brees throwing him the ball if he had the Jags QB's throwing him the ball. I wonder sometimes if players don't realize how lucky they are to be drafted into a good situation, then they would have been to be drafted by a much worse team who passed on them when it was their pick, earlier in the draft.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
I picked Seattle to win the Super Bowl and nothing last night changed that. They are as good as it gets from top to bottom, you won't find any better right now. Percy Harvin is special when he's on the field and they won without him last year. Add him to that offense and boy, you will have a hard time stopping that.
Quote:Rodgers and McCarthy got ripped by First Take They always rip the losing team in a game like that, when the losing team is considered really good and has an elite type QB. Nothing new at all with them.

Quote:To be fair Bryan Bulaga was having a pretty good game until he went down with a injury. Then Sherrod entered the game... Bulaga makes Derek Cox look like Cal Ripken Quote:Aren't there rumors that the Jags will go after Maxwell in free agency next year? He pretty much held his own for the most part and was being thrown at basically the entire night. Would be another good poach from SEA next year IMO Bradley will probably be interested, but I think a desperate team like Dallas will overpay him in free agency. Quote:Agree. I woud think Gratz, McCray, Colvin is your top three CB next year. Maybe Ball is back. I don't know how good your corners are, but you can never have enough good CBs.
Quote:I don't know how good your corners are, but you can never have enough good CBs. Definitely but I'm not sure thats where they look in free agency. |
