I agree its high time to move on from Marcedes, actually overdue....but Dickson isn't a playmaking type of TE. We could have targeted Finley - he was that, but now we'll probably have to address it in the draft with someone like Ebron or Niklas.

If Finley signs with you guys and stays healthy, you've officially got the scariest batch of tight ends in the league. Four guys who could legitimately contribute on most teams out there. Impressive.

 

Too bad we don't use TEs more in passing game.

 

With Miller restructuring, Willson solid rookie year and McCoy coming back after injury I like our TE group even without Finley, but wouldn't mind to sign him on a 1 year deal. It will be hard to stay healthy with hard hitting defenses in NCF West, so I don't know if signing with us is really the best decision for him. I'm not even sure if it's smart to continue career with spinal cord injury, but he works hard to recover and will try to play when he gets medical clearance.

 

I also think if we sign him, he will be used as a big target WR we currently don't have. We will probably draft a WR in top 2 or 3 rounds, but most rookie receivers need a season or two to develop.
