Emmanuel Sanders visited Jaguars signed with Denver/Manning in decline?

Mike Thomas is 5'8", not 5'11"

Quote:I'd like to have him.. Can never have enough weapons. Who do we lose if he happens to sign though? M.Brown?

Probably....and that would be dumb. Brown will give you everything Em Sanders will, if not more should he continue to develop off of his last season. And Mike Brown will be lots cheaper.

They both are similar in that neither win any/ many one on one battles with the DB for jump balls/ deeper passes.

I hate hate hate the notion of smaller WR on the outside. Hate it!!!

I swear people don't learn from past Jags personnel mistakes around here.

I wish people would make their arguments without living in fantasy land, aka adding Justin Blackmon to the list of receivers we have or could possibly count on.

Thomas didn't succeed not because he's small, but because he sucks.

Steve Smith is small and is a baller. You can be good and be short.

But according to you, Ace is supposed to get hurt sooo having Emmanuel will be fine to have and fill on

Since Henne is the starting QB, the Jaguars do need a 6'3" WR because Henne's 2 best and only passes are the sideline backshoulder and intermediate seam/post.

Just stop.

E Sanders 40 - 4.41

Mike Brown - 4.69

Brown will not give you everything Sanders will.

Ahhh, the Steve Smith anomaly.....I love when this ONE is thrown out there every time people say that outside WR need to be bigger.

Steve Smith in his prime ran a 4.3 something and was strong as an ox. And had a bit of leap in him.

Em Sanders is not that.

Mike Brown is already here.

It really is like Mad (Dog) Libs. Same tired arguments with only the names changed.

better roster > worse roster

Obviously they are targeting guys they feel can make us better.

Mike plays faster than that, we saw it last year.

Sanders plays faster than 4.4

Sanders plays like he should be running a 4.2

He's a smart route runner. He is NOT fast. At all.

Amazing then that before last season his TD total was 2, and he was nothing more than a fringe player.

Guys that actually play closer to a 4.2 as you suggest are more impactful than Em Sanders.

Different QB/OC/HC/GM/Owner/Opposite WR but Sanders played outside this year on the opposite side of Brown and seemed to do pretty good.

Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown ring a bell?

But yeah, let's also completely take away his best year, which was also his most recent season, where he got more reps to do things. Makes perfect sense.
