Well he had a pretty good year last year. It is a low risk signing. Is it a bad signing? No. Does it keep us from signing anyone else? No. So what's the problem?

So, 3 QB sacks now qualifies as a pretty good year? You can cite "pressures" all you wish, pressures can still result in 1st downs. QB sacks end the play or directly force turnovers. This team has had issues getting TO the QB. 

 

This player is a lesser Babin and might not even be on Jeremy Mincey level when it comes to getting to the QB. 

 

Lets call it for what it is and is only. A depth signing.

His name is Willie Young, not Willie Brown for one...

 

3, 0, 3 is his numbers, and according to PFF (which you seem to hold highly according to our Beadles discussions earlier) he was a top 15 4-3 DE if I remember right. This defense would fit him even better as well, he would also work with coaches that would play to his strengths and are known for building up players. He would fit in well, and he definitely would have the potential to bring some nice sack numbers.
