I was hoping for Clowney or Watkins when we picked because I think those are better. But now I hope our pick at #3 comes down to Manziel and TB both being on the board. I want to see who the team picks.

You are acting like Bridgewater doesn't benefit from anything on his team. He has some pretty good receives as well esp in Parker and Copeland. Also his defense was pretty good if not great this past season. Not to mention he has a great rushing attack that helps set up those playaction passes.

Hint:

Bridgewater is the only qb with a first round grade on our board

From my own experience scouting QBs, you can't compliment a QB like Teddy for his success despite a supporting cast, whilst simultaneously knocking another for winning with his team.

Only wr who is remotely nfl caliber is parker

That "rushing attack" was not even in the top 50, check me on that

And Louisville has a world's better defense than TAMU. Haha TAMU might as well not have a defense, I could score on them.

Fair

However defense doesnt coorelate as much with success as an offense

Right, tell that to the Seahawks and the Broncos.

Same could be said of Evans for Johnny.......

What!?!?!?! If the defense gives the offense back the ball, then the offense can continue to move chains and score. Did you even watch how great that D played against the Hurricanes?

@wiseman101

Per David Caldwell, Gus Bradley, and Shad Kahn -

Jaguars are targeting Clowney, Manziel, or anyone not named Bridgewater with #3 overall pick....

Quote:I am not just going off of stats, I was just pointing out that Evans didn't dominate his production. Also if you actually watch him game film he looks and does read the field.

And if we are "calling a spade a spade"

Bridgewater played again

Ohio 7-6

Easter Kentucky 6-6

Kentucky 2-10

Florida International 1-11

Temple 2-10

Rutgers 6-7

UCF 12-1

South Florida 2-10

Connecticut 3-9

Houston 8-5

Memphis 3-9

Cincinnati 9-4

Miami (FL) 9-4

......those teams are a combined 70-92....and how do you complete less than 58% of your passes against Kentucky and Connecticut and combine for 2 TDs and 1INT in those games.....

Manziel faced:

Rice 10-4

Sam Houston State 9-5

Alabama 11-2

Southern Methodist 5-7

Arkansas 3-9

Ole Miss 8-5

Auburn 12-2

Vanderbilt 9-4

UTEP 2-10

Mississippi State 7-6

LSU 10-3

Missouri 12-2

Duke 10-4

...these teams are a combined 108-63....also Johnny only had one game where he completed less than 66% of his passes and that was against LSU.....

He looked horrible against Kentucky. Freaking Kentucky. Imagine if he played real competition all season.
