Shad shows what EverBank Field Renovations could eventually lead to

I think reducing the heat and eliminating the rain (at least in the stands) would boost attendance a little. Especially in September, when we have boiling heat and thunderstorms. When the team is winning, and fans are pulled in because of the product, that stadium has been full regardless of the weather. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

And in September when they temp at kickoff is in the 90's, I think most of us are just frankly used to the heat and humidity at that point in the year. And it's usually only that first month where it is brutally hot.

Everybody knows that Jag games typically dosent cool down until November at the earliest. The weather has no bearing at all especially if the team is winning.

I've never gotten used to the heat! Gracious...I hate being burnt on one side of my face all week at work. As far as the heat advantage...I haven't seen that for a few years now but that could be because of the horrible roster.
If they can find a way to create some shade....DO IT! ![]()

I agree that the heat can be bad at times, and to be honest is probably the main reason the east clubs look so empty early in the year, but... winning fixes everything, including evidently heat tolerance.

The shade concept is exactly why the previous Dallas Cowboys stadium was built the way it was - with the "almost dome" thing that was cut out just about over the field section, but still shaded each side. This way there was still the home field heat advantage, but the fans were at least shaded from the direct rays.

The heat is really to much to handle in the upper decks. I never understood why they would not invest in some sort of cover. The Romans were able to do it w/ the Colosseum, it doesn't even need to cover the entire stadium.

I grew up in the North East.
I’ve been to games in Baltimore (Colts and Ravens), Philadelphia, Penn State, Notre Dame and more than 20 games in Pittsburgh. I now sit in section 241 for every game every year. September can be hot, but it is 1000x better than November and December at any of the aforementioned teams. 1000x Anyone who left the rust belt knows what I'm talking about. #bethankful
Once the new scoreboards are constructed, we'll be able to tell if this concept is planned for the future... Well some of us will be able to tell..! lol
