So our owner says we're taking a QB or two but obviously not tipping the hand of where but who is a likely second round QB talent we may be interested in?

No pain, no gain.

We'll either get Teddy or Johnny in the first as bonafide franchise QBs, or take Garoppolo in the 2nd as a developmental project with Fales in the 4th to compete

Yeah.....that's what I'm thinking too. Depends if our guy (whoever that is) falls to us at #3.

It's a good idea. Henne is a veteran that knows the offense. It will help the rookie tremendously.

He's not a clown. He's actually playing QB for one of 32 teams in the NFL. You can hardly call him a clown. A veteran will help a rookie trmendously despite the public's opinion.

How could you sign a guy to more than 3 million a year based on his poor performance, age, and knowing that the owner wants 2 qbs drafted in this draft...

I dont see a deal being done..

Henne.......A terrible QB. Set him free.

Failure is not an option. 2nd place = 1st loser.

The fact that he could be starting next season is seriously putting a damper on my enthusiasm. The dude is just not good. I would rather go with a totally unknown anybody over what we have. Hopefully Caldwell can pull some magic out his rear and get us a damn QB.

Michael DiRocco of ESPN doesn't know jack.  Henne sucks. Use Henne as a mentor for the young drafted QB? So he can learn the following: stare down receivers, make bonehead passes that get intercepted, call timeouts before the play clock expires because he's confused, only know 2 passes - intermediate seam passes and back shoulder passes.
