Weight of contract greatly exceeded the sum of production and attitude thereby creating an irresistible suction out the door.
I'm thinking he was more booted out than sucked out.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

If they release Poz, they better sign another pro bowl calibre MLB to take his place. LB is already weak enough, although Hayes and Allen are playing better.

If we release poz we're stupid, he's a great player and we have no cap issues

I agree with Homebiscuit and others... I'm not sure why there is so much animosity towards Poz. He's been a big contributor this year.

For those pointing to our record and team rankings on D, I'm sorry but you are cherry picking stats and ignoring his performance on the field. Poz is good, and I hope he's kept around.

He missed the second half of a game two seasons ago and a game this season because of a concussion.  He's a bit injury prone.

Always thought Mincey's "claw" celebration was dumb.

True.  It's actually hard to imagine any coach not being all about a player like Posluszny.   Consummate pro with consistent high effort and hustle on top of above average talent.  What's not to like besides the salary?

Add to that a positive attitude and no off-the-field issues.  To even think of giving him up is ridiculous.

He doesn't fit the armchair GM template: early 20's, no injuries, works for tips, and ranks FIRST, not third in NFL tackle numbers .  Trade him, he's nothing but baggage.

Poz is our best player on defense and brings it every play.  If we get a better defensive line in front of him he could become an elite mlb.  If the team wanted to cut down on his salary cap number then sign him an extension and give him more guaranteed money.

Am I the only that believes there's a strong possibility that Poz's tackling prowess influences the rest of the defense?

LOL.  You can't be referring to all the clueless idiots who think it's possible to draft/trade/pick up a quality player simply by walking into the store and grabbing one off the shelf?

ATTENTION SHOPPERS.........Linebackers on sale at half price in aisle 6.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

No way Poz isn't on this team next year.

You forgot "plays an important position" since EVERYONE knows that you don't really need a Middle LInebacker anymore.

They're right.  The 126 combined tackles that he's credited for this season were completely unnecessary.  He spends his games tackling opposing players away from the ball, tackling his own players, or roughing up cheerleaders and sideline personnel.  He's useless.  Get rid of him.

Only by his agent where he was dropped off by the Gus Bus.

He is very limited in range and is still very slow to react.

Yes, he does come up with a critical tip pass or tackle on a key down, but that is very rare.
