Selling their old used cars to Americans is foreign labor now?

You don't mind the nurses coming together in a union to negotiate better pay?

Quote:I'm just saying there was some good for the people of cuba. The average person there lives longer than the US.

Also having a go at another country for its oppressive regime when a quarter of the world's inmates are locked up in the US not to mention Guantanamo bay is a bit rich.

Pathetic

Even if he didn't like the idea of unions, exactly how does tha equate to most on here preferring that CEO's be better paid than nurses?

Having a go at another countries oppressive regime when there are people risking their lives on a daily basis to get to that oppressive country on boats and through South American countries shows just how oppressive the US government really is.

Work your way south through Florida to Orlando and down into Miami and speak with the Cuban people and they will tell you that their lives are infinitely better in the US than they ever were in Cuba.  A man that grew up rich put in place a government to keep himself rich and you want to talk about how they live longer than Americans.  You sound as ignorant as Colin Kaepernick.  Very sad.

People mourning this piece of [BLEEP] are just plain ignorant.  It shows just how bad our "education" indoctrination is in public government schools as well as universities.

Imagine living in a place where if you dare speak out against the oppressive government, you are thrown in prison.  Imagine if you weren't allowed to leave the country without "authorization", even if it's to go on a vacation.

That's pretty much how communism works.  Though it's not as bad as North Korea, Cuba is a pretty bad place to grow up/live in solely because of communism.

Anyone that thinks that this piece of [BLEEP] Castro did anything well for the people of this country really needs to take a history lesson.

Have you got authorisation from your government to visit Cuba yet JIB? I know us Europeans have been visiting for a long time.

Things will probably change under Trump I bet he'd love a golf resort there.

Let's also not pretend that poverty in Cuba wasn't impacted by political decisions in the US.

My original point was that Cuba despite the bad had a health model you lot could learn from. Also the US loves locking people up so not exactly the land of the free.

I don't oppose private sector unions, only public sector ones. I also don't oppose the CEO/Board's decision to fire them all if they attempt to organize.
