Smart man here. As much as some of you are complaining about the refs and calls, you act like the Patriots has NEVER been on the wrong side of these calls before. No excuses. Your team let up and played too vanilla. Bill, as he always does, made crucial second half adjustments, defense was much better and Brady is... well, Brady. He did his thing. Ask the Falcons.

Please, when were the Pats on the receiving end of a call that cost them an important game? So far you've had TD's overturned against the Jets, Bills and Steelers that helped you win the game. And yet you guys still want to be the victim.

This year feels like the opposite. A good young team, with a foundation to build off of.

I so agree with this statement...  Going from 14-2 and losing again to the miracle Titans ( only got there because of Music City Miracle) was so much worse.  Jags were favorites and had a decent lead going into halftime before Reggie Barlow fumbled the punt late in the first half that set up Titans for a FG and momentum..    I heard the other day that somem people thing of Barlow as the best ever punt returner.  That play alone makes me ban him from ever be considered...  That and coming off kicking the [BLEEP] of Dolphins and sending Marino off to retirement had us all on a high....  I think Jags with a healthy Tony Boselli maybe for the SB would have given us a good chance to beat Rams..

I also agree that the season was the end of the run because of the overspending at bad free agents back then..  Also injuries and other things made the heart of that team break up in the years ahead which caused the dismissal of TC....  Fanbase was looking for a change and I'll never forget Weaver saying that DelRio would bring a more exciting offense..  Well, the core of players that TC picked before he left ended up leading the team  to a couple of playoff years..  But eventually the ineptness of Harris and Smith (where are they now) caused the  tailspin they've just gotten out of....

It's better now since it seems the nation might pay a little more attention to us..  Everbank will be pretty full next season with a very good schedule that should sell more tickets..
