I don't wanna wait until 2020, to fix the QB problem either. We've wasted enough time.

I feel ya, but we've sunk 5 seasons into Bortles. I can wait one more to ensure we get a true franchise guy in Tua or Herbert (assuming the reports he wants to stay are true). I don't think a real fix is coming in 2019.

We always seem to be in the market for a QB when it’s a “down” year for QB’s in the draft. This should’ve happened last year or the year before when we were in position to take one. Best case is to sign a FA QB, draft a guy in the 2nd or 3rd and hope someone pans out. If not then look to 2020 draft.

I completely agree with this.  Don't waste the next 5 years on a substandard guy in this draft just because we want to fix the position.

We passed over Big Ben, Rodgers, Wilson, Mahomes, etc. I can go on and on

Dallas, Tampa, Tennesee and Raiders will most likely be sticking with their QBs for another season. Arizona just drafted Rosen so that's a big no.

Giants will clearly be in the market for a new QB. 

There are a ton of teams who are already invested in their QBs.

I've been on these boards and reading the jags website since the late 90s.  I'm old enough to remember Vic saying he didnt think Drew Brees was good enough.  And then changed his tune saying it was Brees' surgery that turned him into a great player.

Most people thought 2017 was a down year for QBs in the draft.

Yeah I agree. Maybe a team with an old QB looking to groom a young QB(Chargers?), but those should be the 3 teams looking for a QB.
