Blake with a running game, played solid

Quote:3 TDs - 2 passing, 1 running. No INTs.  If that's babying him, please keep it up.

I think the OPs point stands.
agreed.  I will take that all day

Quote:Stop trying to be the smartest guy on the board.
Sorry I'm not going to pretend like 200 yards, 6.2 YPA, and an even lower aDOT (I'll give the actual number when it's released, but it's going to be minuscule) against the Colts is a good game. If he has this exact performance later on this season against a team like the Chiefs, Broncos, or Vikings I would give him plenty of credit for a good game.

No one cares what you think. The fact is the Jags ARE NOT finding a better QB than Blake Bortles. Not for next year, not for 10 years from now. Winston is 0 TD, 2 INT.....he leads the NFL in INTs, you think Buc fans want a different QB? No. They aren't inept like some Jags fans are. Small market clowns

He's knocking Bortles for having 200 yards and a couple of TDs against a horrible defense (they're our divisional opponent; it'll never be a gimme) yet he doesn't mention that those numbers are basically Bridgewater numbers.

14 TDs a year with about 200 yards a game.

I guess Teddy ain't a franchise QB, either.

Quote:Not sure about that, I think it was more Blake taking what the D gave us. He almost always looked down field first before the check down.
He absolutely did go through his reads before considering a check down.

And he absolutely took what was there

Quote:Barring two or three dodgy throws I think Blake played a very smart reserved game and we needed that from him after his poor few weeks. Still miles to go but a step in the right direction with regards to "playing smart".
It was more like 6 or 7, but that's basically what I said. If this was the first small step of many in his reclamation project then that's fine and encouraging. But to say that this alone was a good game is just wrong.

No. Teddy is a backup QB in the NFL. I called it draft day. Watched him in college- can't throw deep ball. Bradford makes them a Super Bowl team IF Adrian gets healthy. Bradford isn't great but he's better than Teddy and I'm sure he will be resigned as the starter.

Embarrassing. Just like MOST Jags fans wanted Manziel over Bortles.

Which was good to see because a lot of times he doesnt do that.  Although he usually doesnt have the time by his oline to go through his reads.  Today was good to see.

Just like most Jags fans wanting Lamar Jackson, a 56% completing college QB over Bortles. Lmao. He's a WR in the pros.

Im not gonna lie, I wanted Manziel but im glad to eat crow on that one.  Some people will never admit when they are wrong.  He also want to draft Geno Smith the year before.  Fowler is also already better than Beasley.  Manziel would of been a good one but just couldnt keep his nose closed.

He did play a good game. Kept plays/drives going with his legs, didn't turnover the ball (although it was a touch and go for a few, probably will always be like that) and had 3 TDs. If he did that every week we would be flying regardless of his volume stats.

I never thought Manziel would ever be good. He's a head case. You can't play QB in the NFL and be a head case.

Mariotta is struggling as well so people needs to get off of Blake Bortles back .

Yes, if he does this every week it will be okay. Like weeks against the Chiefs, Texans, Vikings, Broncos down the road. Doing this against the Colts is not good.

Who the hell said Blake is the only QB that sucks? Maybe sometimes it's hard to take some people on here seriously because they jump straight to hyperbole or ad hominems every topic.
