I'm frustrated with our play tonight as well. We look like crap and I'm pretty discouraged going into the regular season. However, you can't fire a coach because of pre-season play. We're kind of jumping the gun here. Let's see if he makes adjustments and judge the quality of play after the GB game.

Every year, you defend, defend and defend. As a fan, I am sick and tired of seeing garbage, year after year after year. So ya, I am gonna vent and that's a lot of people do. The first two teams were not playoff teams. Cincy is a legit playoff team. We know were we stand, Green Bay is gonna wax the floor w/ the Jags... The Jags defense was horrible tonight, and we could not run the ball against a GOOD NFL team.

Despite my seemingly limitless optimism, this game was definitely worrisome for me. Yea it's only pre-season, and yea I do give some of you guys a hard time. But this is the year that I said it was time for Gus to put up or shut up and make it happen.

I don't think we're a playoff team yet. I think we're a similarly matched team like the Jets and the Bucs. Teams that will be right in the mix as far as wildcard spots go. I think we're a young team so there will be mistakes made. But there will also be a ton of good plays made as well. No we're not going to dominate teams, but that's OK.

What's funny to me is that we have one of the most talented young rosters (on paper, imo) in the NFL. I'd love to see what Belichick or Mike Tomlin would do with this roster!
