Is there even anything a Jags fan would want to watch in this game? It's just going to be a scrimmage for them, and they aren't even that great. It also feels like we have no starters available to play. The team has packed it in. As a Hawkeyes fan it is nice seeing Coop have the early success. But he's also in a good situation, which our team isn't.

I think the tinhorns are about to pull a 2023 Jags/eagles level choke job down the stretch.. they are vastly overrated largely because their o line is one of the worst in football.

The crappy thing is we were not able to field a halfway competent team to take advantage of it. And that’s even with good pieces around. We still can’t get the 2024 piece of crap Jag van up and running. 

So I guess that means the clots could take advantage of it but they aren’t that good either. Old man Flacco may take the south though now that they finally got rid of Richardson.

Houston always was fools gold going into this year. Even when they had Nico and Diggs, they didn’t exactly beat anyone worthwhile. The best team they beat was Chicago and that was before Caleb got going, they beat AR twice, took a 4th quarter comeback and missed opportunities by Jax to beat us. Their only quality win was against Buffalo and it took Josh Allen’s career worst performance to happen and still almost blew it.

Yea I agree, I think the straw that broke the camels back for the clots is they realized they would have beaten the tinhorns last week and be in the lead for the division had they started Flacco instead of Richardson in that last game.

Seeing as we haven't been consistently blown out this year, yeah, plenty to watch until we're down 25. I don't think we'll get to that point without doing some of the damage to ourselves.

Little's first game without the spectre of Cam as competition, how does he fare?
Can we replace Kirk's production with anyone else on the roster? If so, are they good enough that we move on from Kirk in the offseason?

Once we are on D, though, yeah, don't watch. Spooky season is officially over, no need to subject yourself to gore.

Going to be a rough outing I fear. Our depleted WR room up against their stout secondary, they're good against the run as well as of late.

Then you couple in our issues on defense with stopping the pass with their loaded WR room.

Willing to bet we lose by more than 10 on Sunday. It is what it is.

Im more worried about our oline than anything. Cleveland and Scherff has been hut and now no Cam. 3 of our starters on the oline the 1st 8 weeks might not play. I think the one reason this oline has played better as of late is consistency, 3 new starters likely wont help and very concerned about the G spots

Yep. We're now getting a repeat of last year at right around the same time in conjunction with an already demoralized roster and 2 - 6 start. No bueno. 

Expect a lot of quick stuff I hope on offense to keep Lawrence healthy the remainder of this year and going into next year. We're almost there. This nightmare is almost over.
