Questions to the board: Tipping Point Reached?

Quote:Mojo didn't do a thing after leaving. Yoboy being clueless yet again. Actually your clueless because Gerhart didnt either and we paid more for him... But you prolly would know that if you watch the games.. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:The 2013 team was just awful. Yo Boy is just grasping at straws to push his primary agenda. Enlighten me FBT? Whats my primary agenda? Im just stating my OPINION about GUS! Whether you guys agree or disagree doesnt mean im wrong or right..

Just a third-party observation (I don't know why I like to read your board,) but I think the makings of a good head coach is the ability to adjust your (all-mighty) scheme to the players that you have on the roster. My biggest criticism of Gus Bradley is that the constant need for a LEO/OTTO that was not on the roster, didn't allow him to shift the defensive approach. He ran consistently a cover-3 secondary, rather than nickel because that was his SCHEME, despite not having the proper personnel.
I think counting on off-season signings, and especially a drafted class (though I thought the Jaguars did phenomenally,) is that these guys are rookies. Down the road it should surely pay off, but predicting a master class of talent in this year is a bit too hopeful.

Yo Boy, your initial statement indicated there was enough talent on that 2013 roster to win more games than we actually did.
You then listed names from that roster, including JT Thomas, MJD, Forsett, Lowery, Mincey and Blackmon. With the notable exception of Forsett, all of those guys you mentioned were on the 2012 roster, and the team won fewer games than they did in 2013. It seems to me there are at least three possibilities that completely wreck your thesis: 1. Your nucleus isn't as good as you imagine them to be; 2. They were actually more productive under Bradley than his immediate predecessor (Mularkey-who has actually coached a team with a winning record); 3. Both 1 & 2 are true. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Perhaps they could blitz more, but given the problems in the secondary the Jaguars have had, it would be inviting disaster to blitz and leave poor DBs in man. They have reportedly run nickel packages more than half the time. Not sure about the validity of your observations here. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:Yo Boy, your initial statement indicated there was enough talent on that 2013 roster to win more games than we actually did. Once again i was ask of players i LIKED.. And those were my players.. I never said they were great or nothing.. I just felt they were good players.. Outside of the injuries they suffer.. Lol u guys try your hardest to defend Gus and give him every excuse.. Maybe he just not a good coach.. Look at Todd Bowles 10-6 in his first year at the jets. Hmmm

Lol and im sure yours is brilliant right? Get outta here! You trying your hardest to defend a coach who havent done isht.. Just stop! Quote:And his team had a very JDResque choke in week 17 with the playoffs on the line. Choke or not 10 wins is better then 5, or 12 in 3 years.. Smh.. Quote:Once again i was ask of players i LIKED.. And those were my players.. I never said they were great or nothing.. I just felt they were good players.. Outside of the injuries they suffer..But YOU were the one that tied the players you LIKED to the team having the potential to win more games. http://jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/top.../?p=755203 Quote: In response to this, another poster posed the following question to you: Quote: http://jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/top.../?p=755237 You then proceeded to list the players you liked. Yes, Todd Bowles went 10-6 his first year. He had guys like Muhammad Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson, Leonard Williams, a declining but still good Darelle Revis, Nick Mangold, Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker. Bradley in his first year here had nothing close to that number of quality players. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:Actually your clueless because Gerhart didnt either and we paid more for him... But you prolly would know that if you watch the games..You're not really helping your case. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
