Don't forget that we only gave up a 5th rounder to get the other guy.  If someone told us last week that we got Ramsey and Jack, most people would probably guess that we gave up at LEAST a 3rd rounder.  And most of us would have been happy with that.

People wanted to trade up to #3 to get Ramsey. Factor in Jack maybe falling to say #12 we'd have had to give up a lot to jump up and get him too. Crazy.

I was talking to someone from the board just prior to the start of the second day, and I suggested we might trade up to get Jack.  We both thought it would cost us at least a 4th round pick to move up.  But, we both thought that if it happened, it would be the first pick.  When that didn't happen, I figured we were staying put.  Then Jack slid even further, and I expected the team to make a move.  When the trade was announced, and the details were released, I was quite pleased.  They got both the guys they coveted in this draft, and it didn't cost them an arm and a leg in picks.
