Charlie Campbell's Sources Say Bosa is Jags' Plan A

#81

Quote:Definitely. Bosa is a versatile player. He can move around. Just like Odrick, Jackson and Fowler. Miller only plays first downs and short yardages.

Jackson has Miller's spot now. Marks will remain the other DT.

Better than drafting [BLEEP] Leonard Floyd.

I'd be okay with Bosa.  Pass rush is the key and if we pick Bosa we would have the top pass rusher 2 years in a row.  He actually seems more of a sure thing than Fowler, but with perhaps a lower ceiling.

I'd also be okay with Ramsey or one of the OTs.  I think I'd really like to see Dave trade down.  If he drops to 8, still could get Floyd, Bosa or an OT.  If he drops to 15, choose a pass rusher or C Ryan Kelly, then use the extra picks to move back up into the 1st, or just stay put and see what falls to you.

Quote:Of course it would not be a 50/50 time share. And yes, Bosa would replace Odrick on the depth chart.

The depth chart for defensive linemen doesn't matter.   They move in and out of the lineup.

Does anyone know when he got that haircut?

No, that's wrong.   Miller plays nose tackle.   Jackson is not a nose tackle.

Wrong. Malik is not a NT and neither is Marks. Miller will be the NT and Marks will backup Malik at the other DT spot.

OK I thought Marks would remain the starter.

It's all situational.    The guys will rotate in and out, and they will all play.   And they'll move around and create matchup problems for the offense.   Marks will play a lot.   Doesn't matter who the starter is.

Back to the topic, will you be mad if the Cowboys pick Bosa?

It takes a lot to make me mad.   I'll be sad.

It'd be disappointing, mainly because we wouldn't get to see how the Jaguars feel about the consensus #1 edge rusher in the draft.

LOL I will be mad because not only do we miss out on Bosa, but the Cowboys will fill a big need at #4.

We will see how highly the Jaguars feel about whoever they do pick.

It matters in Madden

Quote:8-10 sack player with a chance to go a little above while being a very stout run defender, as you can see easily on tape.

He'll be a good player. Not elite, but he'll be good.
Again you don't pick "good" at 5
