TITANS TRADE #1 PICK TO RAMS

Not a tough decision. If Jack, Ramsey, and Bosa are gone we take him. Pretty simple.

Quote:1. Wentz

2. Ramsey

3. Tunsil

4. Bosa/Jack

5. Bosa/Jack

The Browns need help everywhere so if they go QB when they have Griffin makes no sense. I would personally take the best DB in the draft but you know it's the Browns you never know.

Also I could see Titans trading up for the OT from ND. They have enough ammunition to do whatever they wish.
I cant see Cleveland not taking Goff.

1. Wentz

2 Goff

3 Tunsil

4 Ramsey

5 Jack (or bosa if they love him or some concern over the knee)

Quote:When St. Louis called the teams in the top 5, they could probably tell who was sold on a player by how willing they were to move out of the top 5. They probably found that the Browns weren't all that willing and figured they'd have to move up to 1 to get their guy.

Wow, I typed St. Louis instead of L.A.    I need another cup of coffee.

Quote:I think it increases the chances too be honest. They want to shore up their line. Their new coach I believe was quoted on saying that. I think it goes QB 1, Tunsil 2, and then its anyones guess. I doubt the Chargers go after Jack, but I think Ramsey, Buckner, Bosa are all in play. Not sure what Cowboys will do, seems like both Bosa and Jack could fit their defense. Same with the Jags.

I think the Jags will most likely be getting one of Jack or Bosa.
An argument for Cleveland taking Tunsil at 2 is that they have gotten rid of all of their key vets except for Joe Thomas.  They could deal Joe Thomas, draft Tunsil, get younger, and still get an extra pick or two, perhaps at the bottom of the first round (that trade SCREAMS Carolina).

However, Thomas is still a viable LT and they just drafted Erving last year, and he could play RT, plus they have a pretty good interior OL in Bitonio.  Other interior OL can be had in later rounds.

A new coach and new GM usually bring about a new QB.  Yes they brought in RG III, but he's not necessarily "their guy."

I'd probably take Buckner over Tunsil in that scenario.

Erving is locked in at center according to the most recent reports and they did try to trade Thomas last year before the deal fell thru before the trade deadline. They currently have Austin Pazstor locked in at RT after losing their tackle in FA so Tunsil could very much be on their list at #2.

Yup.  All those draft picks that the Rams got from RG3 and all the first round picks Cleveland got made them absolute powerhouses. :teehee:

Tacks will get better from this, but their fatal flaw is that their QB will never take them anywhere. He's just not the guy.

I actually think with todays dink and dunk NFL, if he can become a good decision maker, he could be dangerous.  I'm just waiting to see who they draft with those picks.

I sort of disagree. I like Mariota. He's tough to play against. I'm hoping their fatal flaw is his injury concerns, which never allow him to take that next step.

He seems injury prone, and doesn't seem to have the frame for the beating. That's the only way I see Mariota flopping, though.

Yea thats true.  I just hope he's injured more often than not against us; because a healthy MM is a problem if the offense gets more catered to his skills.  I mean at Oregon he was good but he had to change his game.  Just like the other scrambling QBs Colin and Russell, in the right Offense look out.  Ppl say Kaep in CK's scheme will succeed, so why not MM, hopefully not though.

This is a good move by the tacks but remember they still have to hit on these picks. I remember the browns used to have multiple first and second rounds for a few years in a row and they never got past 5 wins lol. Getting the picks is only part of the battle. Hitting on them is what matters.

If Tunsil passes SD, no way does Dallas take him. There's a very good chance Tunsil is there at 5 now.

I'd say no. But after talking with some Chargers fans, apparently they like their O-Line they just got bombarded with injuries last year. Ramsey could most definitely be the guy there. If Ramsey goes, and Dallas takes Jack because they obviously don't need OL help, that could mean Tunsil is sitting their with our top options off the board. Bosa would be there yes, but considering how Caldwell said we went Fowler last year because he didn't love the edge rush talent this year it makes it more worrisome about that.

We just have to hope and pray Chargers go Tunsil. Tunsil's a monster so it'd be tough if he's there and our top guys are gone, but then again the Ravens who need OL help are at 6 and would take Tunsil no doubt if he's there...so maybe a trade down? Although it never happens....so its whatever.

Question?  Not just to you because i've been seeing it brought up, but why would we go Tunsil with Beachum, Luke, and Parnell at T or even worry.  One can be drafted later to develop and unless someone's sliding to backup RT, that just means trade back if no defensive player you covet is there.  Outside of losing out on a top 5 player you covet Tunsil falling means nothing but more picks.

Sd and Dal can get 2 of 4: Bosa, Buckner, Ramsey, or Jack.  I doubt Clev goes defense at 2.

If Tunsil is there at 5 there's no doubt Caldwell will be fielding calls for a trade down because the Ravens will be licking their chops for him. Question is will Caldwell take a trade down if Bosa is also still on the board?
